Description of the Cape San Blas vacation home rental
Watching the moon glisten across the Gulf waters shows that you have picked one of the exceptional vacation homes on all of the Forgotten Coast. When you see the view of the Gulf through the wall of windows, you know that you will have a wonderful beach vacation.

As one of the premier Gulf front homes on Cape San Blas, no expense was spared in construction of this unique home. Ten foot ceilings on the main living level, nine foot on the bedroom level and vaulted ceilings on the impressive top floor. Spectacular crown molding decorates each room and every room has a veranda with views of the Gulf of Mexico or St Joe Bay. A modern elevator whisks you to any of the four levels making it easy to bring in luggage and groceries.

The new owners have just completed a total remodel. Every piece of furniture and artwork is brand new and the 130 year-old reclaimed heart-of-pine floors have been called the most beautiful on the Cape. The home offers 4,400 square feet of style and elegance and sparkles with new paint inside and out.

MoonStruck is a perfect home for multiple families with separate living spaces to accommodate children and adults but it can also be lived smaller. How about an over-the-top honeymoon hideaway? It could also be an opulent getaway treat for a couple or a small group of friends.

The elegant dining room has a direct view of the emerald water. The deck just outside the Pella doors has tables with seating for twelve for "al fresco" dining. Adirondack chairs are spread over all the decks for enjoying the sun and watching the magnificent sunset each evening. Palm trees surround the home for a bit of privacy.

Stroll to the beach down the private boardwalk with unobstructed views of the beautiful white, sugar-sand beach and watch pods of dolphin swim by. This home has to be experienced to be truly appreciated. Book your perfect family beach vacation at MoonStruck and make memories for a lifetime. You will want to come back again and again.

Floor plan: 1st level-kitchen, dining area, gulf front living room, 60" TV, DVD, IHome stereo dock, cell phone booster; laundry room and Bedroom 1-king canopy bed and full bath. 2nd level-Bedroom 2 - gulf front master bedroom with elegant king bed, TV and full bath with Jacuzzi tub; Bedroom 3 - second master gulf front king bedroom with TV and full bath; Bedroom 4 - queen bed and full bath; and Bedroom 5 - queen bed and full bath. 3rd level-2 full baths, a kids' living area with TV, DVD and games; loft hideaway kids love; Bedroom 6 - gulf front bedroom with 2 queen beds; and Bedroom 7 - gulf front bedroom with 2 bunk sets to sleep four.

Area Information
Cape San Blas is an extraordinary place. Even during the busy summer months, the beaches are sparsely populated. Out of season, it is difficult to see anyone in either direction. There are no high-rises, bars or hangouts. It is strictly a family relaxation spot. It oozes "Old Florida" like no other place but with just a touch of newness and sophistication. Our home sits on quiet Haven Road, away from any traffic yet is only about 5 blocks from the Trading Post for any last minute supplies you may want.

MoonStruck is located about a mile from the 2,500 acre, St. Joseph Peninsula State Park. This gem was rated #1 beach in the United States for 2002. It offers nature trails through beautiful 35 foot high dunes, fishing on the beach as well as canoeing, kayaking, scalloping, and snorkeling. Equipment for all of these can be rented in the park. Spend all day doing a walk up the Gulf beach and back in almost complete seclusion.

Little Apalachicola is just 20 minutes away filled with quaint shops and great seafood restaurants. Port St. Joe is even closer and provides good shopping and dining. Don't miss experiencing unique restaurants like Triple Tails, Sunset Grille and the famous, funky Indian Pass Raw Bar.
