Gulf Dreams on-the-beach is on North Captiva Island, a bridge-less barrier island approximately 4 miles long, accessed only by boat or private plane. No car traffic; only golf carts and sand roads. There is a untouched state wildlife preserve that occupies 60 % of the island. This provides 2 miles of untouched and unrestored beach and opportunity to bike, hike and run, especially when the tide is out. Visiting North Captiva is like time traveling back to Florida in 1945. Uncrowded and unrestored beachs, no tall condos, lots of bird and sea life. Gulf Dreams on the beach has 75 feet of deeded Gulf of Mexico beach front and its own raised private walkway to its private beach. Its lot 1/4 mile east on a private canal has a 85 foot dock that provides a place to dock your boat or a rental boat at no extra charge.
