“Great bachelorette pad!!”

Reviewed 1 Jun 2016

This house was beautiful and in a great location. It was spacious and had enough room for all ten of my guests with me. The only reason I would give it a four star instead of the five it deserves is because of the help we did not receive when calling the "help" desk for questions as suggested. The waterfall and pool lights did not work as advertised in the photos and no one ever returned our calls to help us with this issue nor were the lines open half the time. We were told that they didn't have the same staffing on the weekends which seems odd considering it's suppose to be a seven day a week hotline. Other than this issue the house was great! Wish we could turn back time and be there again!!

“Beautiful house, description not quite accurate”

Reviewed 23 May 2016

The House: It really is grand, the layout, the design, & the private location. When you drive to the house, you do feel as if you have arrived at a resort. Currently, it is the only house in the development, but two additional homes were being built. The Outside area: It is also very nice and the dry creek bed behind the house gives you added privacy. The pool never warmed up for us, so I don't think anyone ever got in, although we enjoyed the hot tub! (We hit a cool week so we did not get to be outside as much as we had hoped.) The Interior: It feels very open and spacious, so great for a larger group of people. Beautiful wood beams and tasteful furnishings. The living area with its fireplace was very cozy. The kitchen had everything ever needed. We loved it! You really just walk around in awe, it's that amazing. The Bedrooms: This is where the description is not accurate, thus one less star. There are really only two true bedrooms, a master suite on the first floor with a spacious bathroom/closet area and a large bedroom on the second floor with a very very small bathroom attached. The house lists five bedrooms, so they are counting a den with a sleeper sofa (ensuite) on the first level, and a den on the second floor where they set up two twin beds. This room has no closet and it is very small. These guests use the ensuite bathroom off the upstairs bedroom which as I mentioned is the size of a powder room. Also, if you want to get to the big screened porch and upstairs outdoor area with fireplace, you have to walk through this den/ bedroom. The fifth "bedroom" was a challenge to find. It is located off the garage, so to get there you walk from the hallway that leads to the kitchen and out into the garage. Here we found a room with four single beds. No closets, no bathroom. Guests walk back through the garage and into the house to the half bath off the laundry room or outside and around the back to the pool bathroom which has the shower. (We saw a brochure on the counter, as the house is for sale. On the floor plan, this bedroom is listed as the workout room.) If you are a family and all comfortable with each other, it is a great spot, but if you are a group of couples, it would be a challenge, to see who gets a beautiful bedroom, and who has to sleep on twin beds off the garage. In summary, the house is lovely, clean, modern, cozy, all those good things, but just not five bedrooms.
