Wonderful Charleston Visit
April 9, 2012
We found this house on the internet and were so glad we did. It was clean, beautiful and well kept up. It was close to Charleston and anything we needed at stores. We stayed for a week for much less than a hotel stay and had 3 bedroom, 2.5 baths, patio and grill and kitchen with all the dishes we needed for our stay. It was a quiet area and we even found a nearby Church to attend on Sunday. There were fresh flowers on the table to welcome us when we arrived and the house was even more than we could have hoped for. We would highly reccomend this to anyone wanting to be near Charleston but not right in town . It is perfect for a family or 2 married couples to share. We prepared our breakfast and dinner there each day which saved a lot also.

We actually stayed at "Heavenly Sanctuary" and not "Lords House" during our trip. Home was in a convenient location and neighborhood was good. The house we stayed does need some attention. It needs a thorough cleaning and painting. The back yard was really not usable. There were only three chairs and they were too dirty to sit in. I "think" there was poison ivy growing on the back of the house next to the back door. There is a small courtyard on the side of the house but it was overgrown and the bench was broken and it looked like it was a storage area for old flower pots/etc. The rugs in the living room and at the top of the stairs are really dangerous because they wrinkle and could cause an older person to trip. Overall though, we had a very nice vacation.

We stayed at the second property, The Heavenly Sanctuary. Very peaceful neighborhood, within 20 minutes of historic downtown area as well as historic plantations and most of the golf courses. The house is spacious and well kept and the manager is very accommodating.

This condo is nicely upgraded and the kitchen is well stocked. The views of the marsh are great and we saw deer and many birds.

Enjoyed our stay in "The Lord's House". Could not have asked for a better place to stay. It met all of our needs and was very comfortable. Also liked it being in a subdivision. We were able to get out and walk. Very nice!

This home is just as described--beautiful, comfortable, and peaceful. Tandra was wonderful to work with, very responsive to any concern we had. The fresh flowers were a sweet touch. The beds were excellent. It is close to the naval base, the main reason for our visit to see our sailor. The location is convenient to restaurants and a half hour to any tourist interest--the beach, the Yorktown, and downtown Charleston. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this rental.

The house was very comfortable and nicely decorated. It met all of our needs and was in a very nice location...fairly easy access to all we wanted to do. It was quite the charming retreat!
One of the highlights of our vacation was opening the door to a warm and beautiful home. We, as a group of friends, would like to thank you for a wonderful and charming place to stay. We will try to keep hotels off our list as places to stay for future vacations. You have spoiled us. The location was close enough to everything we wanted to see and do; Mt. Pleasant, downtown Charleston, James Island, etc.
The many sayings on the walls were a very nice touch and helped remind me that humble people can be still found throughout the world. Thank you again for helping us enjoy our vacation and so I leave you with a scripture, James 4:10. You earned it and lived it. Charlene Sylvester and friends.

This home is beautiful, comfortable quiet and far exceeded anything, I could have possibly wished for. Thank you Tandra. We hope to come back someday. I pray God's blessings for you and this home.
WE were in the CHarleston area in early February. What a great place to visit. This location was so accessible to all of the points of interest. The location was perfect, the atmosphere that Tandra has created inside and outside the home is very inviting.
THank you for sharing your home with us.

Thank you so much for such a beautiful place to come "home" to! Vacationing is so much more enjoyable when we have all the comforts of home. Everything here was amazing, and your home is incredibly inviting and comfortable. We enjoyed every moment of our stay in Charleston, and can't wait to return next year! Thank you!

What a lovely, relaxing environment for a "Talk/Shop Fest". We enjoyed the house and the quiet neighborhood. The scripture passages (here and there) were an encouragement. So glad we came.
Who needs a small cramped hotel room when you can stay here! Very comfortable home with all amenities we could wish for. Lovely decor, clearly inspired with much thought and attention to detail. Beds were very comfortable. I actually got a good night's sleep in a bed that was not my own. This is our second visit to Charleston and we just love this area - beaches, history, gorgeous architecture and friendly southern folks who could teach those northerners how to be polite and hospitable!!! Great time had by all. Thank you, Tandra, for a splendid visit.

The accommodations were exceptional, much better than staying in a hotel and eating out every night. Very clean, well kept home! Comfortable beds, cool inside (Thank the Lord for air conditioning in 98 degree heat!). We locked ourselves out and Tandra was very understanding and had us back inside almost immediately. Southern hospitality is awesome! This home, as well as Charleston, emits Christian values, ideal for anyone's vacation!

We very much enjoyed our stay. The house is very nice. We were in town to watch the pro volleyball event at the Family Circle Tennis Center. If you are still renting the house next year, we would definitely like to rent it again.
"We thoroughly enjoyed our visit in your home. Thank you for sharing it with us. My girls loved it! (Especially the beautiful stenciled sayings!) The graduation was wonderful and we got to do all our activities, plus enjoy the beach several times. Maria (my youngest at 7) said when we got there and she had looked everything over - "Mama, you've put us in heaven!" - it was too cute. " Again, thanks for everything.
Thank you for the stay in your beautiful home. We could not be more pleased. We had a great time and hope to come back at a later time. We already decided that we might like to come here every year. The house is amazing! Thank you so much!

Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home this weekend. The good news is that we have the privilege of creating our homes to mirror heaven. It is within our power, with God's help, to do so! "God's House" has truly been a refuge for me this week. God Bless you!!!
What a mighty God we serve! This is wonderful. I loved the stay. Thanks for your kindness.
"Thanks for changing your plans for this weekend so we could stay in your beautiful home. It's very comfortable and lovely. We love knowing it's the "Lord's House" and seeing God's word, pictures, etc. The wall paintings are amazing. Hopefully your home will be available to us for our future visits with our son."
