Description of the Chatham vacation home rental
The house sits on a quarter acre of land. Beyond the backyard is a marsh area that once was a cranbery bog that was destroyed in the hurrican of 1938. The original house was built in 1947. In 1987 it was modernized and enlarged. To the right of the propety is land belonging to Chatham Conservation Foundation. There is a private home to the left. The front of the house is on a private, paved road and the distance from the house to the beach is 3/10th of a mile and this distance includes a private bridge to the beach

There are three bedrooms, a fully equiped kitchen, livingroom with wide-screened television, a loft area and one bathroom.

Area Information
Beyond the immediate property is a road (Ridgevale) connecting the property to Rt 28 which is one of the main routes on Cape Cod.
The beach is on Nantucket Sound and the water is warmed by the
gulf stream.

Chatham is very scenic with ocean views to the south and east. The shops are very unique and there are many fine restaurants. For entertainment there are fishing trips and seal excursions. The are thearters and concerts, whose gendre changes weekly. Their is an excellent bike trail in Chatham that connects to a large bike trail which extends from Dennis to Provincetown.
