Our family (2 adults and 2 kids) enjoyed very much our stay in this house for 2 weeks. The house is very spacious and even more beautiful than it appears on pictures. It is right on the beach where kids found lots of sea shells, and it is always a bit windy so it never gets too hot - just perfect. The hostess is very kind and caring - we found a lot of nice "handy" goods for the kids that were left for our stay. The house is located in a nice quite area without too many tourists, at the same time with a car we could reach everything (piramids, stores, restaurants, etc) within 10-15 minutes. We definitely will be back some day! Galina

The owner does deserve praise for the way the house is arranged and designed. It is well decorated and tastily furnished. The master bedroom opening on a spacious palapa covered balcony will make you feel like royalty - for a while. Same for the living room and dining room. The kitchen however on the other part was filthy when we came in, and it's old appliances (gas stove, rusty toaster ...) Problem is my wife and I are beach lovers. And what I'm about to say does not only concern this particular property, but all of those on this beach: there is no beach ! It is a long desolating carpet of decomposing algae covered with filth and debris. Yes the water is very nice ! But the promise of a white powdered beach ... Well ! It isn't there. The little path leading from the house to the water certainly is white sand, under gorgeous sheltering palm trees but it stops 40 feet or so from the water and what you get from there is the sad picture I just described. In fact, we didn't see anybody swiming while we were there. My wife and I almos left right then and there. Had we not traveled all the way from Cancun, we would have. People should also know that right now, there is construction on both sides of the house. Noisy. But that is not the worst of it. The water pump ! Very loud noise coming from the thing. O.K. during the day, I guess. But at night ... Until you find the switch, you can't sleep. And even then, the cartetaker flips it back on at 5h30 AM. Overall, very disappointing.
I am writing you because you have the wrong house, the house you just descibed is not mine, please look at the pictures of my property and you will see is not the same as the one you went to.
There haven't been any constructions around my property since 5 or 6 years ago.
There is no path leading to the beach, the beach is just down the steps from the pool deck.
Please Mr. Laroche have a look to the pictures and take this review out of my house and put it in the wright one.
THE TESTIMONIAL OF DOMINIQUE LAROCHE IS MISTAKEN SHE WROTE A REVIEW TO THE WRONG HOUSE AND I HAVE NO IDEA HOW IT HAPPENED.
If you want to relax and enjoy nature, this is the place.
The house is beautiful decorated and very confortable.
The local Bus pass just by the door and there is a house keeper living next door that will be happy to help you in anything you need that is at his hand.
All this adds a plus to the Villa.
