Description from owner

For four months of the year we open our property to you, and invite you to enjoy perhaps the finest spot on the Lake. Known for its clear warm water, Christina lake is a summer paradise like no other in BC. We are located on the West side of the lake, off a quiet road, and enjoys early morning sun through the east windows, and cool breezes in the evenings which follow the nearby creek down the mountainside.

We have over 300' of secluded sandy beach on the point surrounding the property. A comfortable deck and a lakeside firepit make this the perfect spot to spend a week or two enjoying all there is to offer in this relaxing Interior BC atmosphere. Our Wilderness RV is cosy and comfortable, with beds for 5 and all the amenities built in, including a hot shower, flush toilet and microwave/ stove/oven and fridge. It is located above a grassy slope just above the beach and dock, and has lilacs and cedar trees surrounding it. Our small flock of hens are nearby and will entertain and feed you with fresh eggs! Great fishing off the dock, and enquire about our kayak, bike or SUP packages.

We rent from June to September, by the week from Friday to Friday. Suitable for small families or couples who want to savour the Lake from one of the best locations on it. South-facing, our point is off quiet Westlake Drive, and you will soon forget about your troubles at this summer paradise. The RV can be rented together with our Cedar Cottage (with a 10% discount) for larger families or groups, or by itself.

“Great spot for a big family”

Reviewed 14 May 2016

When I rented this house last year, the one thing that gave me concern was scarcity of reviews. So I want to review to help out the next person. We have 6 kids, and this house was one of the few options for us. It fit us great. Bob and Lucinda are super hosts, who live in the neighboring house. So, you get built-in local advice--if you want it-- but they'll give you plenty of space if you want that. However, you'd do well to ask their advice, because they are long time residents. And you'll need his help to figure out the incredibly complete recycling system of the area! The house is full of Lucinda's art work, so the only warning I'd give is to families of toddlers because some of it is breakable. House has a great location, with lots of beach to lay on, fishing right from the bank, a full size boat dock (we rented a boat from the marina and docked it there during our stay). Fully featured kitchen and a nice grill on the deck. We could sit our family dinner out on the deck or inside. House is on the quiet west side of the lake, but just a few minutes around the bend to the town, which has a decent grocery store, fishing tackle in a couple of the gas stations, a great pizza place that even has gluten-free crusts, a nice ice cream store, marina, kayak/paddleboard/bike rental shop, a miniature golf course, and a nice golf course down the road. As native Texans, we were concerned about the Canadian water temperature, but this lake is great. This is one of the best family vacation spots we could have come up with. Kids still talking about it.
