Description of the Clyde vacation cabin rental
Looking to get away to the mountains with your family? Timber Hollow is the perfect choice for large families, or groups, traveling together!

Our custom log cabin sits on a private 65 acre buffalo ranch. Enjoy viewing our buffalo when you drive in or stop by in the morning at feeding time! This cabin is nestled in the woods & has plenty of space for families traveling together.
So, whether you are looking to hit the slopes at Cataloochee Ski Resort in Maggie Valley (only 12 miles away) or visit the Biltmore Estate in Asheville (only 30 minutes), there is plenty for everyone to do in The Great Smoky Mountains!

Timber Hollow is ideal for large families vacationing together because we have 2 master suites as well as a 2nd kitchen downstairs! You can store extra food in the downstairs fridge!

Also, rest assured the children will be well entertained downstairs in the game room where we have a pool table & ping pong. There is a foosball table in the loft. Also enjoy an evening in our 6-8 person hot tub out back!

Children will love the hike through the woods to the play area, The BC Corral! This custom designed area has everything from swings, zip line, slides, teeter totter, cargo nets, rock wall & even a horse shoe pit for the adults! The kids will love it here!

If you are looking for a quiet 'get away from it all' retreat, this is it! Enjoy long hikes on the property, fishing on the Pigeon River (within walking distance from the log cabin) or take a trip into town to do some shopping or antiquing.

We are pet friendly, size doesn't matter!

Cabin is tastefully decorated during the holidays as well!

We hope many wonderful memories will be made while vacationing at Timber Hollow!

Fun things to do: Great Smoky Mountain Railroad, Biltmore Estate, Ghost Town, hiking at Chimney Rock, tubing at Deep Creek, Fun Factory, Indoor skydiving, visit the Elk in Cataloochee Park, Great Smoky Mountain National Park, take a drive on the Blue Ridge Parkway, Casino in Cherokee, slide down the rocks at Sliding Rock in the Pisgah National Forest, downhill skiing, snowboarding & tubing at Cataloochee Ski Resort, golf at Waynesville Country Club, Maggie Valley Country Club or Ironduff Golf Course!

Our family had such an amazing time staying at timber hollow!! The home was beautiful and secluded enough that we felt we were the only ones there! Our children (and adults too!) loved seeing all the animals and watching the buffalos feed each morning. The playground and hiking trails made it perfect. If anyone was "bored" in the house there was plenty to do on the property. The location was also great for catalochee, hiking and Asheville!!!!

We rented Timber Hollow for my son's wedding. The cabin was absolutely beautiful. We had to accommodate an extra family that normally does not travel with us and the downstairs area worked out very well. Cheryl was awesome with anything we needed. We had beautiful weather for a beautiful occasion and this cabin will accommodate families from the elderly to the young. Thank you for a fun stay!!!!

We spent four days at Timber Hollow with friends - four adults, three kids, two dogs. This was one of the best weekends away we've had - despite the rain, we were able to take advantage of all the ranch had to offer. The kids loved seeing the buffalo and other animals and playing outdoors. The drive into Asheville was convenient for an afternoon trip. Great set up for two families with young kids. Everything is very well maintained and nicely thought out. We will definitely have to return to try out the outdoor fire pit (we got rained out). I appreciate how responsive Cheryl and everyone was with questions both before and after.

My friends and I are all very like this cabin. It is very comfortable. We enjoyed all the entertainments in the cabin, such as pool table, table tennis, and table soccer. Particular, we loved hot tub very much. Additionally, the cabin has very large kitchen. We enjoyed cooking. The kitchen contains all kitchen utensils. In the end, the location is very nice. Every morning, we can see buffalos in the ranch.

Second vacation spent on the Buffalo Ranch and first time at Timber Hollow. Three families were blessed again to enjoy a week in this beautiful, secluded, mountain paradise. The house was perfect for nine people to each have their own space. The grandchildren enjoyed playing outside, and a special treat was making S'mores at the fire pit. Cheryl and family graciously provided the ingredients. A feature this time, that wasn't available four years ago, was being able to stand on a platform and watch the bison being fed each morning. Our family went three different times and were really fascinated with the procedure. Being close to Maggie Valley was all we needed to be completely satisfied, however, most of our time was spent just relaxing in this special house with beautiful surroundings!

The stay at Timber Hollow was wonderful. The cabin was clean and the kitchen was well stocked with most things you would need to cook meals. My family had a great time playing ping pong, fuzeball, and pool. The hot tub was wonderful after a day of hiking. It was really fun watching the Bison come in for their feeding. It was close to a lot of other attractions. Cheryl was very helpful in answering all our questions before we went and after we were there. She even made reservations for us at a zipline, rafting, and jeep riding attraction. We would highly recommend buffalocreek vacations.

We chose Timber Hollow as a meeting place for family (between St. Louis and Charlotte). The cabin was very clean, nicely furnished, lots of things to do in and around the cabin. We enjoyed the bison, goats, llamas, chickens, bunnies, etc. Cheryl and her family were so helpful and nice to talk to. The cabin was the perfect place to come back to and relax after all of our adventures (rafting, tubing, Biltmore, Black Mountain, Asheville, Clingman's Dome, hiking, etc) - the fire pit was great for our s'mores and just hanging out!

We chose Timber Hollow to accommodate our large, extended family, 4 couples and 2 children. Cheryl was super accommodating and everything was in order upon our arrival. We made good use of the hot tub and fire pit each night after taking in the surroundings (Asheville, etc). It was secluded enough from the other cabins that we felt we had all the privacy we needed. We look forward to returning in the future.

This is the second time my family has stayed here. The first time we stayed in Bison Overlook and loved it. My daughter bugged me about coming back for 3 years. We returned this time and brought another family and needed a larger place. We stayed in Timber Hollow and served both of our families very comfortably, especially the beds (Awesome mattresses). This is a great location for hitting all the area attractions. Cheryl and the staff are always there when needed and not when you want privacy. We will return!
