Our home also boasts a large lake view deck for entertaining. The attached garage allows any weather access to the house. The home has natural foliage including wild apple trees and berry bushes. Enjoy your privacy inside the perimeter of pine and fir trees opening up into acres of woods all on a sunny lake view meadow home site within. Year round access is from paved and plowed Upriver Road.
Spend mornings warming up on your sun drenched deck, and warm afternoons cooling down in filtered sun, all while watching the boaters go by. It's also possible to coffee and cocktail on our nearby dock and even keep a rental boat on the water! Ask me about the details.
A wood stove provides ambiance to the open living and kitchen area, while stairs lead to a large loft above. One bedroom and bathroom are located on the main floor level providing complete livability for those with limited mobility. Three additional bedrooms are upstairs along with a full bath. Both the bath and shower have massaging shower heads. Of course, all appliances, including toaster, blender, coffee maker, and washer and dryer are new as of 2013. The plumbing and electricity are also modern. (GFIC)
The large deck has a dining table that seats eight, an oversized umbrella, and the modern stainless BBQ is propane fired. Of course, the lake view goes for miles and miles, and you can stay warm outside at night by firing up the fire pit on cooler evenings.
The kids and adults too will enjoy the Restoration Hardware mini-pool table. The home has many dozens of free movies on DVD, full access to Dish TV. Both can be enjoyed on the large flat screen HDTV.
You'll be less than three miles from downtown Coeur d'Alene's shopping, restaurants, and the Coeur d'Alene Resort, yet set in a secluded area of pines and firs, overlooking Cougar Bay's logging pens and miles of lake views. You can also watch Coeur d'Alene's famous fireworks on the 4th of July and the Friday following Thanksgiving from the comfort of your own deck!
One of Coeur d'Alene's best restaurants, The Cedars, a floating restaurant and the Yacht Club Marina is but 3 minutes away! Pick Idaho's famous Huckleberries (similar to the blueberry) right on the property, and, in season, enjoy fresh flowers, herbs, vegetables, and fruits right from your garden!
Close by are skiing, snowboarding, mountain biking, river rafting, fly fishing, water parks, Silverwood amusement park, wineries and too many others to mention.

Perfect Family Escape!
August 19, 2011
Our family of 6 had a fantastic time in this spacious yet cozy cabin. Kids who are aged 1, 4 and 13 (2), had a blast playing tetherball, horseshoes, croquet, lego, board games, watching movies and hot tubbing. The owners have thought of everything to make your stay comfortable. It was great to get there after our long drive from Canada and not have to worry about getting paper products, spices, oils, towels, soaps- these were all provided! Every kitchen appliance and utensil you could imagine. Fans in every room kept us nice and cool. There was equipment for every sport imaginable, 4 bikes, a kids pool, fishing rods, paper and crayons, etc, etc. We also used their Idaho and Spokane handbooks more than once to help us decide where we wanted to go. The location is perfect in a little holiday community on the lake yet, up on a hill surrounded by trees so you feel like you have your own private getaway. It is 20 minutes to almost everywhere you'd want to go- Silverwood, Coeur D'Alene, Spokane, Post Falls, Farragut State Park- we did them all! What a fantastic family holiday- even our 13 year olds want to come back. Would definitely return to this great place!
