Nice, but dissapointing due to weather

The chalet was very nicely appointed. Casual and relaxed. The only issue we had was getting to it after a day of skiing in the village. It had snowed all day, and we could not get back up. Would rent again, but not at the top of the hill. We ended up with no help from the company as too alternatives and ended up spending another $250 for a hotel room to spend the night. The rental company was more helpful in the morning by driving me up to pack up and driving myself and our belongings back down.

Chalet with Hot Tub

On the internet the chalet looked very appealing. It was very clean and directions on getting there were very clear. Some of the things that I would recommend is a review of the property when one gets there. As we immediately noticed lights not working, cups broken, dishwasher rack broken as well, as pots that looked like they had been used and not cleaned. Our vacation was also interrupted at 12:30 am (midnight) as the "pump sump" hose disconnected and was gushing all over the electrical panel. HOwever, I do have to say that the overall experiece was still a very positive one. The chalet was impecably clean and very beautiful. The hot-tub was amazing (especially after the long day of skiing). Overall we did have a wonderful time. Michelle Gordon

As first time skiers, we truly had a geat experience throught the whole weekend. The hospitality was amazing, the facilites were incredibile. Not only are we going to come back, we will also recomend it to all of our friends and families. Thank you, very much, you town truly knows how to host tourists.

Comfy but needs some love....

The condo we stayed in was unit #217 Chateau Ridge. While the location was great and the size and layout of the unit was great, the condo needs alot of work. Stained carpet on the 1st floor bedroom level, both bathrooms full of mold and mildew. There were recently patched areas of drywall. The windows need replacement or some long overdue m aintenance. The door of the fridge swings the wrong way and the stove should be replaced. When comparing the price we paid against the quality of the unit, I don't feel we received dollar for dollar value. Also, the info. package that is left in the condo is very outdated and unprofessional. There should be alot more information re. lifts, rentals, prices etc. A brand new spong and wash cloth in the kitchen would be good also. More toilet paper please. Your offices in Collingwood (where we picked up the keys) need better outdoor lighting. It was difficult to see even when we knew we were close. We will come again but to a diff. unit.
