MINEOLA, TEXAS USA

The home was immaculate, very comfortable, with modern conveniences and had great views. We really enjoyed watching the wildlife and listening to the creek run through the property at night. It made for a very relaxing and stress relieving vacation. It was much needed.

Views of mountains, views of lakes, visiting hummingbirds and deer, and peaceful, quiet family time make this home a great place to rest for a week or more. The games and activities for little ones along with WIFI for the adults make for a wonderful blend of communication for people within the house, and with those who missed their opportunity to be with you! You will be blessed by the location. You are centered for day trips to Farmers Markets, Museums in Ft. Collins, shopping in Loveland, lunches in Longmont, and more!
Black Forest Rental near AirForce Academy

We rented this home for a week. We loved the home. The moment we opened the front door we fell in love with it. It was my husband and I our 3 kids 20, 18 and 11 and also the oldest two brought their girlfriends. We had plenty of room! It was close to everything but also is secluded. It is so quiet. We were visited pretty much daily by mule deer. One of the small things we did need to go buy was storage containers for our extra food and for our picnic lunches we packed. It wasn't a big deal just thought I would mention so you can pack your own. We also borrowed a blender from a friend nearby. The kitchen was wonderful for cooking family meals and serving them from long bar. One other thing that I think is good to know is that there is no view of the mountains from the house. I would definitely recommend this home though. We would love to stay again. Also if you are looking for a place because you have someone in the Air Force Academy this is really close by!
What a wonderful place to stay if you are visiting the Colorado Springs area. As far as accommodations, it is exactly portrait on line as it is in person. If you are looking for a cozy home within minutes of many attractions, this is the place to stay. There also a ton of hiking trails near by. My in-laws joined us for the trip, 7 of us were very comfortable, there was room for two more.
Upon arrival our home was clean and ready for us. We only had to call to get assistance with the lock box, otherwise Julia was wonderful to work with. She was always quick with a response to our questions and we received our full safety deposit back within a week of our stay.
We saw wildlife right from the front porch many mornings and evenings, Green Mountain Falls is only a 15 min walk with a neat play area for little ones. Woodland park is a 15 min drive north with everything you need to make your stay comfortable.
I recommend this areas for a wonderful family vacation and this place for your family to stay.
My family of 7 stayed here. We had plenty of room. The listing for this home is just as described plus more. The kitchen was fully stocked. My kids enjoyed the basement area with toys and vhs movies. Everything was clean. The beds were comfortable. I would definitely recommend this property to family and friends. I enjoyed the fact that everything was pretty close to the house. We enjoyed Pike's Peak, Manitou Spring's downtown area, Garden of the Gods and Cheyenne Mountain Zoo. So much more to do there but until next time!
The cabin was very good for a large, multi-generational family. We loved sitting of the deck, looking out at the mountains. The location was great--close to stores and cafés but not in town. Lots of nearby activities for kids. We walked a nearby trail daily. We loved getting up to Pikes Peak, to the Garden of the Gods and the Cliff Dwellings, all very close. Julia was very accommodating to us at the last minute.
