May\june.....perfect location....close to everything (can even walk to some of the beautiful places to visit) but yet your own little hideaway, literally. Wildlife every morning and evening. Husband even had a deer come up and sniff his knee :) Quiet and relaxing. Large enough for whole family vacay but also a great feeling of being at home and closeness while there. Plenty of room for kids to play while parents relax. Love the open floor plan on main level with all the windows. Was hard to leave and get back to reality ;) owner is very nice and quick to respond if you have any questions or issues, before or during your visit. Love colorado springs! We will definitely be back soon!! Also i will say the stairs and elevation was a big concern for me (for my parents) but they had no issues....stairs were a little exhausting for them but there is the side or even the back entrance to make things easier. Simply put a very nice place where you will feel at home and is easily accessible for all ages!! Thanks so much mark for the great stay! We loved it!

July 24, 2013

we traveled from Illinois to surprise a family member living in Colorado Springs for his birthday. We rented out the entire lodge and the cabin and there was plenty of room for our family of 22. Brian and Debbie were wonderful and the lodge had everything we needed. I would highly recommend the lodge as a place for a reunion or family get together as it is close to many activities. In addition to shopping, Pikes Peak, white water rafting and other activities, we also had a great time cooking out and enjoying the mountain view, playing cards and corn hole games. Our four-night stay was perfect!

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What is your elevation?
A: 7,500 feet
Q: Do you offer packages or specials?
A: Yes, we offer area attraction packages that include the most popular attractions in the area. We offer romance packages to help make your honeymoon, anniversary, or romantic getaway extra special. We offer some type of special or discount at all times. Inquire about the current specials or discounts available.
Q: How early should I book my reservation?
A: For Summer Rentals & Holidays, 9-12 months in advance.
For Off Season, 1-4 weeks in advance.
Q: Will there be snow when I come?
A: Maybe, though we do get snow, we cannot predict what day it will snow. We can have a dusting, a few inches, or a couple of feet of snow. The biggest snow months for us March and April. We typically get a small amount of snow in late September through November, more significant snow December - February, which are also the coldest months. We can get some snow in early May as well, but spring snows tend to melt quickly.
Q: Are you Cannabis friendly?
A: No, we are not. Smoking of any type, is not permitted in any of our facilities, nor is it permitted outside on the property. Because we are in the mountains just a little spark can start a forest fire, so we cannot allow any type of smoking on the property, nor inside.
