“Bear Paw Cabin”
The cabin was comfortable and clean with a great fireplace and beautiful yard. Scott was very responsive and helpful. We would definitely go back!
“Cozy cabin at a beautiful location”
We rented this cabin with another couple and chose it for the midway location between our homes, that it allowed dogs, and that it was nestled in the woods. Very cozy place- clean- and had all necessary ammenities. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the owner seemed nice through email and always responded in a timely manner. There was a bit of a musty scent that may have been from the type of wood or the older furniture/ cabinet. ( not mildew or mold by any means...more like walking into an antique shop) but this only stood out for the first few moments that we walked in the door...or use a scented candle if needed. We absolutely loved our stay and wish we could have stayed longer. Highly recommend this rental!
“Wonderful relaxing getaway!”
We found the cabin to be spotless, cozy and the furnishings comfortable, just what we were looking for! A great few days to relax and enjoy the beautiful grounds around the cabin. We can't wait to return in a few months.
This is the third time that my wife and I have stayed here and, once again, we enjoyed our time at this great cabin. Even though the weather was HOT the cabin stayed relatively comfortable. The free Wi-Fi and satellite TV are appreciated. We used the outside grill several times and enjoyed eating in the comfortable screened in back porch. Just a 10 minute drive to Yough River and some great trout fishing. The owner is great to deal with and is quick to respond to any questions. We look forward to staying here again in the future.
“Wonderful Home away from Home”
We loved our stay at Bear Paw Cabin. The location was perfect with almost everything we wanted to do less than 30 minutes away including Ohiopyle and Laurel Caverns. It was only ten minutes to the GAP trail so we did a good bit of biking! The cabin was just the right size for my wife, daughter, two dogs and I. The beds were comfortable; the enclosed porch where we could hear the stream was wonderful and always cool; the deck and table was nicely shaded; and my daughter loved the little playground and we all had fun on the tire swing! We all agreed we would stay here again to make new memories. If you are looking for a quiet cabin in the Laurel Highlands where you can relax and still get out to see all there is to see, you could not do much better than Bear Paw Cabin!
“Cozy accommodating cabin”
We recently stayed at the bear paw cabin with our two boys. The cabin did not disappoint. We cooked all of our meals in the well equipped kitchen and ate them on the cozy screened porch while listening to the babbling stream below. My boys loved exploring the stream and the wooded 8 acres. The beds were comfy, and the fire pit and tire swing were well used evening entertainment. In addition to the great amenities at the cabin was the proximity to all the Laurel highlands activities. The owner was also great to work with and was quick to answer any of our questions. We will definitely be back! Thank you!
“Great place for relaxation”
The Bear Paw Cabin was our home away from home. Beautiful place if you want to get away for the weekend. The cabin was very clean and had everything that you need. We loved the firepit and the back screen-in porch. Quiet place to sit back and read a book while listening to the stream in the woods. My boyfriend and I will definitely be coming back.
Quiet cabin with stream running right below it. Not far from lots of activities. The kids loved the swings and slide. Nice screened porch overlooking the stream. Bring your own firewood. Nice size gas grill. Only negatives - no air conditioning and the driveway is located on a blind curve. We had a very nice time and the price is reasonable.
“Perfect once again”
This was our second stay at the Bear Paw this summer. Really enjoyed the screened porch and side deck this visit. So quiet nd relaxing. Looking forward to planning a stay next year.
“Cozy get away in the woods”
We recently stayed at the Bear Paw Cabin and loved it! It was close proximity to all the Laurel Highlands sights and was a great place to relax in at the end of a long day sightseeing. We most loved the screened in porch which we ate all our meals in and the firepit and tire swing. The stream out back was so relaxing and our boys had great fun exploring and wading in it. The homeowner was a breeze to deal with and always responsive to our requests. The beds were super comfy and the convenience of wi fi and direct tv were a nice touch. Would definitely return! Thank you!
