of Venetian stucco, plank floors and Italian tiles. It is light and
comfortable with views to both North and South into old
copplestone courtyards. It has a kitchen with stove, refrigerator,
microwave oven, freezer and dishwasher. The bathroom has a
shower, washer and dryer. The bedroom has a queen size bed plus
a large storage closet. In the living room there is a couch that folds
out as sleeping space for additional two persons, if needed.
The apartment is in a 250 year old house in Nyhavn, withdrawn to
the courtyards in the back of the front row. The canal of Nyhavn
was created in early 1700th century so that traders could sail their
cargo ships right up to the front row of warehouses. Now it is the
restaurant and cafe haven of Copenhagen where people stroll all
Copenhagen. Here you have The Royal Theatre, Magasin-du-Nord and this is where the shopping street Sroget starts. On this walking street you will find Georg Jensen, Royal Copenhagen and Illum plus the Ecco store.
The square also has a Metro(subway) station which can take
you to most places in Copenhagen and directly into Copenhagen
If you change from the Metro to the suburban trains, you can ride
to Helsingor and visit Kronborg (Hamlet's Castle) or to Hillerod and
visit Frederiksborg Castle built in the early seventeenth hundreds.
The new Opera House is a unique experience and you can get to it
in less than 10 minutes. Check kglteater.dk for program.

Reviews for this vacation apartment rental in Copenhagen, Sealand, Denmark
Great location; very comfortable
My daughter and I stayed for a week and found the
apartment to be very comfortable with everything we
needed for a week away. The kitchen had a nice
collection of dishes and spices which made cooking in
very easy. The bed (and couch) were comfortable and
it was very quiet. Simon was great about getting us
settled in and making sure we had everything. The
location was great as it was only a few blocks from the
metro which meant that everything was easily
accessible. The neighborhood restaurants were varied
and pretty good. Prepare for a bit of a workout the
first couple times you tackle the stairs!
We stayed here for four nights with our two kids ages
13 and 10 and everything was great. The apartment
is in a popular area, but set back behind walls so that
everything was very quiet. We were within walking
distance of many attractions including the Little
Mermaid and Tivoli, as well as the train station. There
are numerous restaurants, great ice cream, and many
shops in the area. The apartment is spacious and has
many windows so it was full of light. Simon was there
to meet us promptly upon our arrival and was very
helpful and knowledgable. We would love to stay here
again when we return to Copenhagen.
We spent the week in Peter's apartment in Nyhavn.
The apartment was very comfortable and provided a
great home base for our family. With the "glass
market" only a metro stop away, we enjoyed shopping
and cooking a few meals in the kitchen. Space was
perfect for our week stay. The location is the BEST you
feel like you are living in Copenhagen, close to all
the major attractions and public transport. Peter and
Simon provided us all the information we needed to
enjoy our stay and Simon was available to answer
questions as well. Thanks!
We had an excellent stay at this apartment. Even
though it is in the Nyhavn neighborhood, the
apartment is very quiet. It is very comfortable, clean
and well taken care of. A large living room dominates,
along with a good size bedroom and a nice eatin
kitchen. The apartment is on an upper floor, and
there is no elevator, but we had no problem with
walking upstairs. Access to all the landmarks is very
favorable, as most everything is within a 15 minute
walk from the apartment. Both Peter and Simon were
very kind and courteous to make sure we had arrived
well and had a good stay.
Awesome location !!
We have just recently returned from Copenhagen and
I cannot say enough about the convenience and
comfort of this apartment. We have stayed in
Copenhagen many times in hotels and bed and
breakfasts but this was by far the best experience for
us. We were met at the apartment by Peters friend
Simon and he was very personable and helpfull. We
did not have any issues with obtaing the keys. The
apartment was very bright and spacious with just the
perfect amenities. It is in the centre of the action with
close proximity to many bars and restaurants and also
easy walking distance to many attractions. If you
cannot walk to your destinaton the Metro is close by
and very easy to navigate. I would definatley
recommend this apartment to anyone wanting a
comfortable experience in Copenhagen. I know I will
The apartment is beautiful, full of sunlight, perfectly
maintained, and very quiet. All of Copenhagen is
within walking distance, and the immediate
neighborhood is full of personality and charm. A friendly and wellinformed
person was on hand to greet us, and we had easy access to a Copenhagen
resident in case of any problems during our stay. We
would love to stay here again!
Perfect Location and Responsive Host
Had a great time staying at Peter's apartment in
Copenhagen. The location can't be beat. No more than
20 minute walk to any attraction in central
Copenhagen. It's less than a 5 minute walk to the
metro station, and countless bars and restaurants are
at your doorstep along Nyhavn Canal.
The interior of the apartment is huge, and the couches
for additional occupants are very comfortable. Easily
sleeps four, or five with the use of the provided air
mattress. Do yourself a favor and look no farther for
your next stay in Copenhagen.
Me volveria
a alojar en este dpto. sin pensarlo dos veces.
Everything we hoped for!
Having read all the other glowing reviews, I'm not sure
it's possible to make the light shine any brighter on
this Nyhavn Canal apartment. We were visiting our
daughter who is studying with DIS. The apartment
provided a comfortable and peaceful place to spend
time together after we had spent the days walking all
over the city. Maybe because the owner, Peter, does
stay here at times, the apartment feels very
welcoming and homelike.
In fact the apartment is so
well located we could walk everywhere. But some of
the most beautiful, picture postcard perfect sights are
right outside the door.
All our communications with Peter and Simon were
helpful and easy. My only suggestion of additional
helpful information prior to arriving is providing a drop
off location to give the taxi driver since the apartment
is not directly accessible from the street. For those of
us not fortunate enough to speak Danish, Nyhavn isn't
easily pronounced in a way that is understandable to
Danish ears. Otherwise, we enjoyed everything about
Great place to stay in Copenhagen
The apartment is a perfect place to stay in
Copenhagen. It is in a great neighborhood and is close
to transportation so you can get to anywhere in the
city or in Denmark for that matter. The apartment was
very comfortable and very quiet and also filled with
light which was fantastic. There was not an elevator so
there were a bunch of stairs to climb but I am in my
70s and I was able to handle it without difficulty. Peter
was extremely easy to deal with and Simon is a gem.
He gave us several excellent suggestions for day trips
and for restaurants. This is certainly a place where we
would stay again. I have already recommended it to
friends who were looking for a place to stay in
The Perfect Location in Copenhagen
This apartment is just perfect in so many ways. The
location is the best. We literally walked everywhere!
The apartment is so spacious by European standards.
It is also very well equipped and has everything you
need. We stayed for a full week and cannot wait to
return. The entire rental process was so smooth from
start to finish. Peter and Simon have a wonderful
system that leaves no detail unattended. Simon was
actually out of town when we arrived, but left his
daughter in charge of our arrival. It went without a
hitch! I actually hesitate to tell you how great this
apartment is because I want it to be available for my
next visit to Copenhagen.
The perfect apartment in Copenhagen
We join our voice to the exuberant reviews. It is a
totally comfortable apartment, 1000 square feet, in a
eighteen century building, but completely renovated,
and the modern danish design is well adapted to the
place. The apartment is on the top floor, with a wall
full of windows on the south side. It is buried in light.
It is on Nyhavn street and canal, that is to say in the
heart of the old Copenhagen, and at the same time,
protected from the noise of the street by an interior
court. What may you ask more ? Peter, the landlord
who is using his apartment a part of the year and his
friend Simon, always answered rapidly and amiably to
our questions. Alas, the week was too short but we
shall surely come back. Jacques and Claire, from
Most Perfect Accommodations!
Making our reservation for simple, fast and complete.
Communications well in advance of stay in
to our last minute airline imposed changes were
handled with immediate responses and we were
greeted upon arrival.
The apartment is perfectly appointed and the location
superb. We were able to walk throughout Copenhagen
or quickly jump on the train. A ridiculous number of
incredible restaurants and points of interest are just
outside of the apartment. Our 6 nights in Copenhagen
ended far too quickly.
As we often mix work with travel, we made great use
of the apartment's wifi...having multiple devices
attached, three of which utilized virtual private
networking. We experienced no slow downs orinterruptions in service.
Everything was as promised. If you want a local's
experience thisis the place for you.
Location, Location, Location
My family of 3 with our teenage son stayed at this
perfectly located beautiful apartment in Nyhavn for 5
days. The apt. is located in quiet courtyard just steps
away from the busy, fun, & noisy Nyhavn Street.
Working with the owner, Peter, and his asst. Simon
made the experience great. We walked everywher in
CPH and enjoyed the canal cruise across the street
from the apt. Agree with all other reviewers & the
crown jewels in Rosenberg Palace rivals the Gold Room
in the Hermitage. Apt. is located up 4 flights of stairs
and no elevator as other reviewers have already stated
but the location was perfect. The apt. is very large
Europe with one bedroom, two couches in the living
room (one opens as sofabed), kitchen, dining area with
stove, frig, appliances, large bathroom with
washer/dryer. Would highly recommend apartment
and would love to return!
Another 5 star review
We can only add to the consensus that this is a
brilliant place to stay. It is much bigger than expected,
peaceful but steps from the very busy and beautiful
Nyhavn Canal. We walked everywhere other than
catching a train to the Louisiana Museum and
lovely day trip. We recommend AOC as
an expensive but incredible food and wine pairing
minutes walk away. The crown jewels in
Rosenborg Palace are jawdropping,
and all the palace
museums are fascinating. The trip to the Louisiana
Museum and Kronborg was an easy and pretty train
ride. The strange underground Cisternerne Museum
opposite Frederiksberg Palace is worth a visit for
something unusual. It says it is closed on some
websites but it is open and showing a beautiful display
of candle sculptures. We loved Copenhagen, loved the
apartment and would stay again in a flash. Quite a few
steps so not for the less mobile.
Wonderful and Exactly as Promised
My partner and I recently rented this wonderful
apartment for a weeklong stay. The apartment is
comfortably furnished and is huge by European
standards. Its location is fantasticless
than a 10minute
stroll to the metro (with a direct line
connecting to the airport) and shopping on the
Stroget. Most of the city's other sites are within easy
walking. We cooked many of our meals in the wellequipped
kitchen, and several grocery stores are
located near the apartment. On those evenings when
we chose not to prepare meals "at home," the eateries
of the Nyhavn are literally right outside the door that
leads to the apartment's peaceful and quiet courtyard.
One day, with a 24hour
tickets in hand, we rode just
one stop away on the metro, boarded an Stog
train, and easily reached both Frederiksborg and Kronborg
Castles. We even took the ferry from Helsingor to
Sweden for lunch! We can definitely and
enthusiastically recommend this apartment should
your holiday plans include a visit to beautiful
As most of the other reviewers on this site have noted,
Peter's charming, centrally located apartment is the
perfect way to spend a week or two in Copenhagen.
We stayed eight nights while visiting our daughter who
is studying at DIS. The apartment has everything a
family of four needs including plenty of towels,
bedding and hangers! It's on a very popular canal but
once you pass through the main door it is very quiet
and peaceful. Dealing with the owner and his onsite
representative was super easy and both provided
extensive information on grocery shopping, dining,
bike rental and things to see and do. I highly
recommend this property and will definitely stay there
again should I return to Copenhagen in the future. It
is important to note that this apartment is on the
fourth floor of a walkup
building. There is no elevator.
A Quiet Refuge to Rest & Relax In
My wife and I spent 6 delightful days at Peter's
wonderful apartment. The rooms were spacious and
inviting. It was a delightful change from the hustle
and bustle of flying over from the US. Simon met us at
the door and brought us through explaining all the ins
and outs of the appliances and the nitty gritty stuff.
He was so kind and understanding. It was a wonderful
start to our vacation in CPH. The apartment was well
equipped with any of the essentials needed. It so close
to the metro, restaurants and attractions I was
amazed how walkable a city CPH is. We would highly
recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a
nice and well appointed place to stay. We have used
Home Away now twice in our recent foreign travels and
have not been disappointed with what we gotten for
our travel dollar. If you are traveling to CPH in the
future, we would heartily endorse this apartment in
Old Copenhagen. Sincerely, Paul & Kathleen
Perfectly located in Nyhavn
My husband and I just returned from a magical week
in Copenhagen visiting our daughter, who is studying
there. Part of the magic came from being able to come
and go from Peter's apartment, perfectly located in
one of the most beautiful neighborhoods of the City,
and tucked in a courtyard behind one of the colorful
facades seen on every guidebook cover! From the
apartment, it is an easy walk to the Royal District, the
Stroget, the Harbour, the Old Inner City, and a
multitude of lovely restaurants. We also walked to
Slotholmen, Christianshavn, Rosenborg, and lunch at
noma! The metro is a short hop, which leads to the
train and outoftown adventures, like a daytrip
to Helsingor. At the end of each day, we loved returning
to Peter's large, bright, fully appointed apartment.
Our singular complaint is that our time in Copenhagen
was too short!
Wonderful Apartment in Nyhavn
I recently stayed here to visit my daughter who is
studying in Denmark. The apartment has all the
amenities you will need and is close to all types of
transportation. Many places are within walking
distance to the apartment. If you feel that you would
prefer the bus,Metro and taxi are right there. My
family and I stayed at another apartment nearby last
August, but found this apartment far superior. I was
greeted and shown around the apartment by a very
nice gentlemen. The owner is very pleasant and
accommodating and the apartment clean and neat. I
may return this year and will definitely see if there is
availibility. I would highly reccommend staying here.
This apartment is perfect!
Everything about staying at this beautiful apartment is
perfection. From booking with Peter to having Simon
arrive (even at 10:30 pm) to provide keys and give a
brief orientation, our stay could not have been better.
Every amenity you need is in the apartment great
kitchen, washer/dryer and the convenience of the
location are all amazing. Step out of the apartment
and you will find a multitude of restaurants, the canal
tours, and access to the metro are an easy walk.
Simon suggested we take the metro and so we began
our adventure. Clean, beautiful and interesting city HIGHLY
recommend this beautifully renovated
apartment!! You will not be disappointed if you stay
My husband and I have rented selfcatering
all around the world. Peter's lovely, spotless flat will
certainly be among our favourite for all time roomy,
airy and filled with light (even in darkest winter),
beautifully and thoughtfully decorated, centrally
located but set back from city hubbub (what little
there is in Copenhagen), comfortable furnishings, with
just about every amenity one needs for a delightful
Five days in CPH was just right for a first visit, as it
included a day in Malmo, Sweden, and a day up in
Elsinore. Don't miss the Danish Museum of Art &
We would happily use the flat again in a heartbeat.
Fantastic flat in the perfect location
We spent five days over Thanksgiving in Peter's flat in
Nyhavn while we visited our daughter, who is studying
abroad in Copenhagen.
The apartment was lovely, with everything we could
have asked for: comfortable bed, queen size sleeper
sofa for our two daughters, wireless, TV, full kitchen
which we used every day (including a dishwasher!),
good bathroom/shower (heated towel rack!), including
laundry. We received excellent advice about places to eat and
sights to see. The bakery around the corner offers
fantastic cinnamon buns and the chocolate covered
ones are not to be missed The location is excellent! It's right on the main canal,
with it's restaurants and holiday market stands, yet
set back in an enclosed courtyard, away from the evening noise. It was very quiet the
perfect place to come home to after a day of sightseeing. The metro is
just a short walk away, as is the Stroget the walking
street with all the shopping you could want. You can
walk to Tivoli, the palaces, museums, and more.
Best advice we got take to a day trip to Elsinor and
Hamlet's Castle. Not to be missed!
We would definitely stay here again, and highly
recommend the place. We greatly appreciated the
friendly and helpful communication from Peter, and
from Simon, who came to meet us in when we arrived
and showed us the place.
The apartment is even lovelier than in the photos.
Extremely convenient to metro, shopping, restaurants,
sights! The kitchen is very well equipped we could
easily cook, and even entertain while we were there.
And with a washer and dryer, dishwasher, wireless
internet, etc. we had all of the conveniences of home.
Although you are right in the center of a very busy
tourist district, the apartment is extremely quiet!
The owner is wonderful to work with and provided us
with great restaurant recommendations, sightseeing
tips, and anything else we needed.
Highly recommended! Tusind Tak!
This is a wonderfully renovated flat in the heart of
everything. Only a few minutes walk from train station
that runs directly from the airport and about anyplace
else you can't walk to. However, we found most
everything to be within walking distance. Spacious for
a one bedroom my wife and I stayed for three nights
with our son who is studing in Copenhagen. Charming
and in a great location everything about this flat was
great. Right out the door to the canal, eatieries,
grocery, bakery, etc. We ate in twice and had a
wonderful time. The owner was great to work with.
Arranged for friends to meet us at the property. Would
not hesitate to stay here again on another trip.
Haven on Nyhaven
We could not have found a better place for our 6 night
stay in Copenhagen this past August (2013). We were
attending an international fiscal conference. Many of
our colleagues were paying exorbitant prices for
cramped rooms and bath rooms at some of
Copenhagen's best hotels, while we came home to rest
and sleep in the spacious, bright and airy comfort of a
beautiful apartment.. We had easy access to the
metro, buses and water taxis because of the central
location of the apartment.
The apartment has a well equipped kitchen, bed linens
and towels, a washer dryer and large comfortable
bathroom with enough counter space for two people or
more to spread out. The apartment looked exactly as it
appeared in the photos. It was clean, cheerful,
attractively furnished and welcoming.
Making the booking was efficiently executed and the
deposit promptly returned after our stay. We had prior
email communication and instructions regarding how
to get there from the airport very
easy by metro,
how to access wifi and other helpful tips and
suggestions including good restaurants and stores to
shop for food and supplies all
.We were met by Simon, the owner's friend, who was
most helpful and friendly in getting us oriented and
We would, without hesitation, recommend this
apartment to any of our friends for a family or couple.
Wonderful Apartment on a Beautiful Canal
We had the great pleasure of spending 5 nights at
Peter’s beautiful Nyhavn apartment in July. Simon’s
directions to the apartment were perfect. We took the
Metro right from the airport and were soon in our
Nyhavn neighborhood. It’s a wonderful and lively
canal that exudes an ambiance we experienced
throughout our visit to Copenhagen. The apartment
became a perfect refuge after our full days of
sightseeing where we could totally relax in a quiet
place. The apartment itself is lovely and beautifully
decorated. There is plenty of hot water and the
bathroom is spacious. There are crisp and luxurious
white linens on the bed and it was so delightful and
restful. The kitchen is fully equipped if you want to
cook from the local organic market. We bought the
Copenhagen Card which got us around on unlimited
transportation, including train rides up to Louisiana
and Kronborg Slot , both must see destinations .
Simon emailed us a list of really nice restaurants and
we went to many of them. We really liked Café Wilder
also. There are guides for guests’ use in the
apartment along with some interesting classical CD’s
to add to the tranquility! This is the best place to stay
Extremely helpful owner, great location,
There is not much to add to the stellar reviews already
listed here. The apartment is large and very
comfortable. We visited Copenhagen at the end of a
cruise so the washer and dryer were very welcome. The
kitchen is well equipped although we primarily used it
for breakfast. There are grocery stores within walking
distance and smaller convenience stores nearby. One
distinction for this property is the very helpful owner
and his friend who meets you to let you into the
apartment. Both were excellent to deal with and were
very good communicators via email prior to our arrival.
It made things very easy.
Perfect for visiting Copenhagen
This apartment is perfect for visiting Copenhagen. As
you can see by all the reviews the location is excellent.
We were so pleased that we could be in the thick of a
busy tourist area with easy access to so much and
retreat to such a lovely quiet home at the end of the
The friend of the owner that meets you to access the
unit is helpful and friendly. The apartment is large
and airy with windows everywhere to catch the evening
breezes. The furnishing are comfortable and the
kitchen is well equipped. It should be noted that it is a
5 story walk up. There is a fine collection of guides and
maps in the apartment. There are popular eateries
frequented by locals everywhere if you wish to wander
away from the canal, though the canal restaurants are
great for people watching. Copenhagen’s excellent
metro is nearby with easy access to the airport and
everywhere you want to visit. We highly recommend
this lovely apartment.
A really comfortable apartment
We stayed in this lovely apartment for a week and it
lived up to all the praise in the reviews. The owner's
friend was waiting to welcome us to the apartment,
and was happy to let us check out a little later than
normal to coincide with our return flight. The
apartment is very quiet despite being amongst all the
bars and restaurants of Nyhavn. It is much more
spacious than the photographs show, with excellent
facilities. It is so well located that we could walk to
wherever we wanted in central Copenhagen without
needing to use public transport.
Terrific home away from home
We enjoyed a fabulous visit to wonderful, wonderful
Copenhagen due to a large part by our fantastic home away from home.
The apartment had all the modern
conveniences, was tastefully decorated, comfortable
bed, sofa and chair. Nyhavn is a fun place to be
located, but the apartment was a tranquil oasis from
the hustle and bustle. Its location also was
outstanding for convenience to walking on foot to
many places as well as to buses and the Metro.
Hopefully, on our next visit to Copenhagen, we will be
able to return "home"!!??
This apartment is better than the photos. It is very
large for downtown Copenhagen. Everything was clean
and ready for the four of us to stay. The owners
contact person in Copenhagen was more than helpful
and kind. He got us settled in during the busiest time
of the evening. The apartment is very comfortable and
well maintained. The real bed was very comfortable
and the pull out bed was really not bad at all. The
appliances give you the option of eating at the
apartment if you choose not to eat out for each meal.
Quite honestly, eating in the kitchen with the window
shades open is still a great view. The entrance to the
apartment complex has a secure, locked door that
leads up the stairs to the apartment door that is
locked as well. Nyhavn offers multiple restaurants with
outdoor seating that allows you to enjoy breakfast,
lunch or dinner on one of the most popular streets in
Copenhagen. If the crowd gets to much for you, just
feet away a set of code secured glass doors lead from
the busy street and into a courtyard. Once passing
through the glass doors, the sounds of the bustling
crowd almost go away entirely and you enter a quiet
courtyard. The shower is roomy and we never ran out
of hot water. The clothes washer and dryer were a
huge plus. In the kitchen, the oven, stove, microwave,
dish washer, frige and freezer allow you to live as
comfortable as if you were at home. The neighbors
above and below are quiet. Each day we were able to
plan a new adventure around the city. The metro and
train are easy to navigate. And if you have a question
just ask someone. Most Danes speak better English
than many Americans I know. There were a few times
I must have looked puzzled while looking at a
metro/train schedule guide to have multiple Danes
stop and ask me if I needed help. And you don't have
to adventure in just Copenhagen. Just a short walk
away, you can get on the metro at Kongens Nytorv and
travel to Norreport. Get off at Norreport and a short
walk away you can catch the train that will go out to
Roskilde along with other destinations throughout the
area. It's really simple, and if you get a little confused,
just ask someone. We purchased 72 hour Copenhagen
passes which allowed us to travel the inner city metro
and some other train destinations near Copenhagen.
The pass also allows access or discounts into just about
every palace, castle, and other attractions that charge
a fee. For the price, this apartment is great value!
So glad we stayed here!
The apartment is amazing. It is in a perfect spot to
explore Copenhagen's most desired attractions. You
can walk virtually everywhere you want to go and if
you decide to take day trips, you are very close to the
train station. I highly recommend.
Just Like Home
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this very lovely
apartment. It is exactly as pictured. You can tell that
the owner, Peter, takes much pride in its upkeep. The
location couldn't have been better.
Our arrival into CPH was quite late. Not only did Simon
welcome us with a smile, he had even offerened
beforehand to help pick up some food for breakfast the
next morning. Luckily we took him up on his kind offer
and were able to enjoy a slow morning the next day
after a long day of travel.
The only thing to keep in mind is that the apartment
is about four flights of stairs up. It was fine for us, but
for families with strollers and such, it might not be
If we find ourselves back in Copenhagen again, we
would most certainly look to stay here again.
Wonderful Stay on Nyhavn Canal
My wife and I had a lovely stay here with our infant
son. The apartment is quiet, very well maintained,
and close to everything. We could walk almost
anywhere in the city in less than 15 minutes. The host
is very pleasant to work with. If we find ourselves
back in Copenhagen, we wouldn't think of staying
Beautiful apartment in a great part of
My family stayed at the apartment for 5 nights in
August and it was very pleasant. While the apartment
is very close to an active part of town, it faces the
interior courtyard and was relatively quiet during our
stay. The apartment was wellfurnished and
everything was very well maintained and clean and the customer service was greatthe
owner was very responsive and his friend who let us into the
apartment was helpful and timely. I would highly recommend this property to other travelers.
Perfect home away from home!
The apartment is the PERFECT location along the
Nyhavn canal. The canal is lined with tons of cute
restaurants and pubs which are just a 1 minute walk
from the apartment. And although on one of the most
populated/tourist areas...the apartment is set in a
back courtyard and is quite at night even on the
weekend! The description and pictures are spoton
and actually, in person, the apartment is a bit nicer than the pics!
We were a party of 4. Two in the bedroom and two on
the pullout in the living room. The pullout bed is a bit
uncomfortable but we pulled the mattress onto the
floor each night and it was ten times better!
The kitchen has all the amenities needed to enjoy
meals in including a table for 5 and the bathroom is
large, updated and clean. The TV and CD player works
great and if you look closely you can find the original
90210 soundtrack that was a hit during our trip.
The city is beautiful and it was great to be able to walk
to any and all attractions both local secrets as well as
tourist. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip and hope to be back
Just wanted to say four of us stayed in the apartment
for four nights. It was wonderful! What a terrific
location! The apartment was clean and bright. The
bathroom and washer and dryer were just wonderful to
have! I would highly recommend staying in this
apartment! We ate dinner at the Fiat and loved it!
Everyone speaks English so it made it easy for us! I
recommend taking the hopon/hopoff bus ride first
around the city to see where you want to go back to.
We walked all over the city after that! Loved
Copenhagen! Thank You for a great end of our
My Wife and I loved this apartment, which is very well
appointed and in the best location in Copenhagen. It's
off the canal so it's quiet with lots of windows for
incredible light. We will stay here again ! The trip
could have not been better.... Sleeps two in a very
comfortable bed and one or two more on a pull out
sofa in the living room...
Lovely apartment, great location, friendly owner!
I agree 100% with all the previous positive reviews.
It's a lovely apartment in a wonderful location, with
everything guests need and was cosy and comfortable
in winter. We loved the space and the facilities. You
can walk to almost everything you want to see in
Copenhagen. We were busy sightseeing during our
time there and it was lovely to come “home” at the
end of the day. The apartment looks exactly as it does
on the photos so you need not worry about what to
expect. A good friend of the owner welcomes you with
the keys, he is so friendly and helpful.
Everything went very smoothly, including the money
transfer. The owner is an honest man! (Note: if you
come from Europe (as I do) you can transfer money
within Europe, you don't have to worry about USA
bank charges). We hope to be back in Copenhagen and
the Nyhavn apartment very soon.
