Beautiful Little Fishing Harbour

August 10, 2012

We had a great time in Corea, Maine and the surrounding area. We loved the house. It was well equipped with everything we needed. We went for walks every evening before bed and experienced some nights full of stars and others foggy. The mornings were beautiful waking up to clear skies some days and the harbour completely fogged in on others. The seafood we had was excellent and we we're close enough to Bar Harbor to take in some activities for the kids. They loved it! Would definately recommend this place for a vacation!

The place was spacious, rustically decorated, and well maintained.

We have 2 very active boys...and they loved it! They were outside and busy the whole time! Blueberry picking, bike riding, nature walks, kites at the beach...the house was clean, easy and charming! WE got fresh Maine Lobsters from Corea lobster co-op and ate them outside on the deck while talking in the best ocean views!

Fantastic Vacation Home!

April 8, 2011

This house was just what my family and I wanted for our Coastal Maine vacation. It's character and rustic charm brought us back to yesteryear yet possessed all modern amenities needed. It's obvious someone paid loving attention to details in the decor. We loved it's location. Corea Village is a very special place and we hope to be back next year!

Corea House

Nice rustic house for the money. Quiet village close to Winter Harbor. A little far from Bar Harbor. Could take up to an hour depending on traffic to get to main attractions in Acadia Park. Comfortable beds and furniture. No microwave and hot water would run out quickly. Adequate kitchen equipment for cooking and eating. We had one or two meals there each day to cut costs. Bring a robe and observe the ocean view from the front window. Toys for the kids, videos in the den, and an excellent washer and dryer. Heater in each room could be set for personal comfort level when needed. Got a lot more house for the price than we would have had on Mt. Desert Island. It was a quiet and relaxing place to have a vacation. Good place for a family to explore the Maine coast during the day and sleep there at night.
