Description of the Corolla vacation condo rental
If your prescription for the perfect vacation is a big dose of relaxation, then this may be the place for you. No hassles getting to the beach- no parking, no trolleys, just an easy stroll down the private walkway. Because the adjoining land is undeveloped green space, the beach here is extremely low density. A sparkling private pool is surrounded by extensive decking and lounge seating along with a gazebo for outdoor dining. Inside the condo, there are three bedrooms: a master with queen bed and private bathroom, children's bedroom with a double and twin bunk combination, and a third bedroom with a double bed. There is an additional bathroom with complete laundry facilities, a fully equipped kitchen and dining area, and spacious family room. The family room features a large screen TV/DVD with surround sound capacity, digital cable with children's channel package added, along with CATV/DVD in children's room and CATV in Master. Wireless internet is provided throughout, including patio. There is an extensive collection of games, puzzles and arts and crafts. The kitchen is supplied with microwave, ice maker, blender, brew and Keurig coffee makers, gourmet cookware. Patio overlooking pool and deck with picnic table and Adirondack furniture, grill available. Tennis and golf directly across the street. All equipment needed for crabbing, surf fishing, or kite flying is provided as well as beach chairs, beach towels, umbrellas, boogie and skim boards. Mini-golf, go-karts, kayaking, museums, restaurants, take-out BBQ and sea food as well as great shopping are all within easy walking, biking or driving distance. If you have a four wheel drive vehicle, you can explore the off road beaches for even more adventure and privacy. Corolla is still OBX the way it used to be! Please be advised that Hydrotherapy is strictly limited to an occupancy maximum of seven total persons.

Area Information
Corolla is the northern-most part of the paved roads on the Outer Banks and features some of the best shopping, dining and recreation. The Currituck Golf Club is directly across the street and overlooks the beautiful Albemarle Bay. The Whalehead Club and Currituck Wildlife Museum also host weekly outdoor wine tastings and live music festivals while enjoying a view of the lighthouse- which you can also climb, for a really special view of the island, from bay to ocean. Tours of the island's areas beyond the paved roads are a must on specially equipped vehicles or jeeps that you can rent. Driving on the beach in these areas is permitted with properly equipped trucks and SUVs. There, you can view the famous Corolla wild horses as well as a number of communities and a whole variety of lifestyles, from the humble to the extremely extravagant. In addition to off-road excursions, you can find sailing, parasailing, jet skiing, kayaking on both flat and ocean waters, deep sea fishing, surf casting, crabbing, go-karting, and just about any other type of recreation you choose. Relaxation is also an art on the northern beaches which are notably less crowded than those on other parts of the Outer Banks. Towards that goal, there are several excellent book stores and take out specialty shops that prepare picnics, breakfasts, lunch and dinner to go. Seafood is a specialty, of course, as is barbeque.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Wild horse tours via off road vehicles on the unpaved beaches - exciting and unique.?
A: The best place to book your tour of the off road northern beach area is directly across the street. You can also rent jeeps there and tour yourself where you can fish and picnic and drive yourself along the beaches all the way up to Virginia.
Q: Our condo community is intimate and small, only steps from the beach.?
A: With only thirty units centered around a private pool that is serviced daily, there is extensive decking and lounge furniture, grills, and a gazebo with picnic tables for outdoor dining. We also enjoy a secluded beach because it backs up to green space, making it one of the quietest on the Outer Banks.
Q: Kayaking on the Albemarle Bay, crabbing and wine tasting at the Whalehead Club and go-karting?
A: Golfing at the Currituck Club, Shopping at Mustang Sallys, cracking crabs and drinking beer on our deck
