Dawg Days...MORE THAN 2 DOGS ALLOWED!!!!
|Per week||$855 - $1,730|
Super Dog Friendly - Dawg Days loves dogs!!!! Being a dog owner or should I say dogs owner..we know how much fun it is when you bring your family 4-legger. Our first vacation with our dog...Petedog...was very memorable. The kids had so much fun watching him roll in something stinky and then running to give them a smooch or playing with him in the ocean. We wanted to make sure other families could enjoy the same thing we have. So that's how Dawg Days came about. We have dog bowls, spare collars, crate, toys, canine first aide kit and dog beds of different sizes! We fenced in the backyard so that your precious 4-legger(s)
won't run out into the street or run to the nearby lake like ours would do every chance they got!
Whether you are looking for a relaxing do nothing but lay out on the beach vacation or having a full schedule of running around Corolla has it all. There are so many sites to see. You have The Whalehead Club, Currituck Lighthouse, Jockey's Ridge State Park, take a guided tour of the 4-wheel drive area to see the wild horses and there is a
nearby nature trail. There are plenty of shops in Corolla and nearby Duck for the shopper. You can play miniature golf or golf at the Currituck Golf Club. Dawg Days offers community tennis courts and there is a basketball goal at the house. There is an area lake that is great to stroll around and watch your dog(s) swim and play.
Located on the ocean side of Route 12, Dawg Days is available for rental all year.
This home-away-from-home even allows your family dog to get away too! Why should they be left out?! We have saved you the hassle of packing up the dog crate...a large dog crate is available. Why not relax in the hammock and watch your dog play in the fenced in backyard away from the cars.
No need to bring anything from home for the kitchen. Dawg Days' kitchen is completely stocked right down to the George Foreman grills.
Sleeping accommodations: 1 Master bedroom/queen, 1 bedroom/double, 1 bedroom/2 twins, 1 bedroom/2 sets bunkbeds and futon in living room.
We thought our renters would like to see the other dogs that have stayed at Dawg Days so we started a photo album of past 4-legged guests. We are getting quite the collection of pics.
You will find this house equipped with a hot tub which is great for relaxing in after a long day on the beach surf fishing or after a long day shopping in all the area stores.
For the kids, we have an extensive selection of games, puzzles, Lego's, Playstation II and a basketball goal outside. We have videos and DVDs and plenty of books for the reader in the family.
A senior citizens' discount, military discount or repeat guest discount are also available.
Additional Local Activities and Attractions:
Minature golf, Go Carts, Water Bumper Cars, Beach Tours in the 4-wheel drive section, Currituck Lighthouse, Whalehead Club
You can take your dogs to Outer Barks in Duck for Yappy Hour or Dog Nutz in Corolla.

Our dogs are used to leashes and cables to go outside, at dawg days they ran so much they got tired out. The kids were never bored. The littlest, 3 year old loved the fenced yard also..... For the first time in a while she could run around and we could sit without having to worry about her getting hit by a car....the adults were able to get some much needed rest. The hot tub soothed many aches and pains...... Just the type of retreat after losing our home to a fire 18 months ago. And 3 kids with disabilities, not to mention my own health problems. None of us wanted to go home..... Dawg days is the perfect place for R&R..... We would definitely stay again.....

This rental home is extremely well maintained and very clean (not one sight of little critters running around). Every morning we walked to the beach (5 mins) to watch the sunrise and every evening we walked to the lake (3 mins) to feed the turtles (and there were a lot of turtles to be fed). The rental is on a cul-de-sac and fortunately, we didn't have any neighbors till the 3rd day of our stay (it was so quite you could hear the crickets - but then again there were none). Easy and short bike rides to the local grocery store (Food Lion) and Timbuck II shopping plaza which offered a variety of shops, fast food and miniature golf. Ride your bike in the opposite direction and there's Harris Teeter, more shops and Currituck Golf Course (excellent golf course with reasonable - twilight price) . Finally, the owners are PET LOVERS - bring your pets and make it a family vacation for all family members.

If you love the beach, and your dogs love the beach! Rent this home! It is beautiful, clean and has everything that a human and dog needs. A few streets down from the beach and a hot tub. Located in such a cute town. This is a great place for your whole family! The home is also kid friendly! You will not be disapointed!

Excellent Property!!! We really enjoyed our stay. The condo had everything both our 2 leggers and 4 leggers needed. It is an easy walk to the beach in a quiet cul-de-sac. We had an excellent time and will very likely try to reserve it again in the upcoming years. We came in via 158/168 and hit LOTS of bumper to bumpter traffic on the 4th of July weekend. Next time we will leave much earlier to beat the traffic.
