Fishing from your Deck - GREAT night fishing with underwater lights. Less than a mile to the beach, and just a few blocks to the new Schliterbahn Water Park. Great Location!!!!

Waterfront- WEEKLY RENTALS (Some 4-day stays accepted) Please see the note in this section to determine short stay prices if you insist on vacation of less than a week.

This posting is for combining two 3-bed, 3-bath town-homes into one large 6-bed, 6bath unit. But, please read it as you want, and use some common sense to see what configuration makes the most sense for your travel group.

Prices in the rate table are strictly for single unit configuration of 3bed, 3-bath unit. Do NOT assume that pricing is just double, nor less, if you take both units at the same time. Prices for combined configurations should be negotiated with the owner.

The main thing to remember is that we can rent it as one large 6-bed, 6-bath unit, or as individual 3-bed, 3-bath units.

1- Extremely large facility to house up to 18 people. This is the biggest place on the island, has way more amenities that any other places, and just simply the best place to be if you need to keep your large group all together. For Rates on combining both places into one 6 bed, 6-bath, unit, please contact the owner.

Otherwise, we can also rent this as two (2) - Beautiful spacious 3-bedroom 3-bathroom town-homes that are adjoining and fit right together. PLEASE NOTE - You have: 6 bedrooms, with 6 full baths - and 4 of those baths are "in-suite" full baths, with tubs and showers. There are two fully furnished units combined into one.

There are two totally equipped kitchens, with more gadgets and equipment than 90% of American Homes. This huge unit has dinner seating for 16 on beautiful wooden tables and nice chairs - with a couple spare chairs under the closet that will seat up to 20 people.

There are also 8 flat screen TV's with Direct TV,DVR and 500+ channels, Netflix, Roku and WiFi. - If you like sports - they each have the total Sports Package on them.

There are two washing machines and two dryers.
We supply a limited amount of detergent and dryer sheets for each rental.
We even supply shampoos, conditioners, tissues, and paper towels (generous limited start up supply)
Both kitchens have pantries that normally have a nice supply of spices, condiments, and so forth.
Some have been opened and partially used by past guests - but, they are yours to use, or if you feel safer replacing them, then that is your options.
We just leave a lot and hope that it comes in handy for our guests and that they can save some money.

Also, stepping outside is a treat. Both living areas step out to beautiful decks, with patio furniture and VIEWS that you dream of.

Outside there are two modern gas grills and one small charcoal weber kettle.
Each Unit is equipped with a nice modern electric Fish Fryer - and please use those out doors - for all the fish you catch right off the deck.

We have installed two very bright and new technology "underwater green fishing lights" which light up the canals. These underwater lights are designed to attract fish at night, by producing a brilliant green glow, which in turns draws the small bait fish, and that in turn draws the hungry larger trout and redfish. We have caught a lot of trophy size fish right off the deck at night setting in a patio chair. Catch more there than the guys going out in the boat all day long. This is really a great feature - come try it out. BTW, i like my Speckled Trout Sandwich Fried with Mayo and Tomato on toasted bread!

The WEEKLY and Monthly rates are in the rate section, and those are our rates. Since we do not normally rent anything less than one week, we came up with a schedule for those who insist on trying.

SINCE 90% of our inquiries are for short stays, and always over just the weekends, are the rates for short stays. if the rates are too high, we are sorry. Again, we are WEEKLY rentals, so, if you want to rent from us, these are our rates. Also, we understand that short rentals are normally going to include a weekend, and make it easier to get time off from work without taking all your vacation time.

We also, understand that some people plan all year for a HOLIDAY vacation, and specifically the 4th of July. So, our weekly rates for the 4th of July will remain the same as posted, but, the short stay rates for any rates from July 1st through July 7th, will have a 25% increase.

Summer - current through Labor Day: We will not go lower than these prices on SHORT STAYS, regardless of the reasons, so, please read carefully before writing and wanting special rates.

6 day stay - $299 per day
5 day stay - $319 per day
4 day stay - $369 per day
3 day stay - $429 per day
2 day stay - $599 per day

Area Information
Located on the main canal of bay side of North Padre Island. Very convenient to fishing and boating recreation and right on the water. It is only a couple of miles to the Marker 37 Marina for all your boating, bait and fishing supplies, or a few minutes more to cross the causeway and go to one of the bigger stores in Flour Bluff

On the island, there is so much to do, and places to go. Water everywhere, so that goes without saying. The newest - biggest - bestest Schlitterbahn Water-park is only about one third of a mile away. Around the water park is a golf course. There are all sorts of places to rent beach buggies, gulf carts, horses, wind surfing, beach patrolling, turtle watching, and about anything you want.

It is legal to drive right on the beaches in Texas - if you have not done that, try it. just get in your car, head one way or another and drive for miles. Some days, during week, the beaches are deserted and you own them. It is quite unique - regardless of the crowds or lack of.

Minutes from downtown Corpus Christi and Only blocks from the beach and great golf. Rent this unit - and have a big group and do things that you never would have been able to do before. Great for large company or family bonding. Try it - not too many places in Texas have what we have - so, try it. Break down the cost by "per person" per day, and you will see that it is cheaper than a group of 2 or 3 sharing a hotel with 6 rooms.

This property is amazing!!!!! The deck over the water is spectacular day and night. The lights at night in the water make for hours of watching the fish and of course provide you the ability to see where you need to throw your line in. The interior of this property has everything you need and more.....it is very well kept and the beds are very comfortable. There was plenty of room for all us.....It is less than a mile to the beach, the central location is very convenient to everything...stores, restaurants etc.; however we enjoyed grilling every night. At night, you hear absolutely nothing when sleeping...I can't say enough about the owner; he is absolutely wonderful. He truly cared about everything being perfect....the service he provided is like none other we have experienced...other than when we were at a high end all inclusive resort. We would highly recommend this property and we will definitely be back with friends next time.....Thank you sir for making a stay so wonderful.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What do we need to bring with us?
A: Just your clothes and personal affects. There are extra blankets and pillows and bedding. Towels, and linens for bedding is supplied.
Q: Can we Cook in the kitchen.?
A: YES, sure, we have about everything you could possibly think of for preparing a meal. All modern and good quality kitchen utensils and appliances. We have serving set for at least 10 poeople and much more if you uses non-set matching plates and tableware. We have most common spices and cooking oils provided. If you have specialty stuff for a certain dish, please bring it. We encourage guest to leave unused non-perishable foods and cooking items in the pantry or even unused condiments in the refrigerator. That does NOT mean that we can guarantee 100% that they are safe and good, but, we have never had a problem. Should you have any doubts, you should just bring your own. Normally, you will find limited supplies of ketchup, mayo, butter/spred, mustard, salad dressings, etc. So, use if you want, and fee free to throw out anything that you do not think is appropriate.
Q: Can we really catch fish off the Deck?
A: YES, for sure, and the best time to catch trout and bigger fish, is at night. Some people lke to fish with lure and artificial baits, but, I prefer live shrimp, or small perch myself. To righ for them, just use nothing but a line with hook on it, and then bait with shrimp (hook through shrimp head between his eye-balls and small white/tan colored spot inside his back of the head. Hook perch below dorsal fin, and let swim in water. To cast out your line, try throwing over the top of the lighted area int the water and then retrieve back across the middle or sides of the light area. HANG on to pole carefully, some big fish take it and pull pole right out of your hand..
