"La Mucchia casa vacanza & art gallery" is located in the region of Tuscany, an area of great historical and artistic interest. The vacation house is situated at the foot of Cortona, an ancient Etruscan town, founded by the residence of Umbria about 3,000 years ago, even before Rome was established. Cortona is a constant point of reference for travelers and connoisseurs of art. Here you can admire the paintings of Signorelli, a Renaissance inspirer of the great Michelangelo. His paintings are preserved in the Museum Diocesan and in the Church of St. Nicholas. There are many paintings in the town of Cortona, ranging from the middle ages to the twentieth century. Some of these come from art schools like "Senese" and "Fiorentino", from famous artists like Beato Angelico" up to "Gino Severini" (one of the founders of Futurism). For lovers of Archeology MAEC - Archaeological Museum of Cortona is a must-see, because there are very interesting Etruscan objects preserved there. Some of them include the 'chandelier' and the 'jewels of the Princess'.
