“Beautiful views”

Reviewed 18 Oct 2016

The cabin was small but very nice. It had all the space we needed for 5 people. The view was beautiful. Enjoyed the hottub immensely. Would book this property again.

“peaceful”

A hidden gem in the smoky mountains. The place was everything advertised. The cabin was clean. Owner was friendly and very helpful. Cabin was close enough to Gatlinburg but yet worlds apart. The stream added to the enjoyment in the evenings. Had a really nice time and will be the first place I would stay at again, if ever in the area.

“peaceful cabin vacation”

The cabin was very well kept. The location was perfect. You can easily travel to see the sites in Gatlinburg and Asheville. The owner and caretaker were friendly and helpful. Both made us feel welcome. We all enjoyed the sounds of the creek and forest, even the owl at night. The cabin was well supplied for such an affordable price. We did appreciate the carport because the nuts were dropping when we were there. The name "Garden of Eden" was appropriate for this little piece of paradise. Thanks to Iva for having us stay for a little while. If the opportunity arises we will be back again.

“You asked”

Reviewed 25 Jul 2015

The location of the cabin was great. The cabin was clean and neat and attractive. The tv was difficult to operate and the dvd player would not work.

Owner's reply: Am sorry for any inconvenience. If it was brought to our attn. while here, we may have been able to assit. With the many ways different equip. work, this will happen from time to time. Sometimes it is simply a bad battery. We will address this issue & are always grateful when folks let us know these things. Hope it would not keep you from returning & would be glad to make it up to you in some way. Thanks for the review; Garden of Eden Cabins

“Small but nice.”

Reviewed 21 Jul 2015

First off, let me start by saying that the woman we booked with was completely honest with us in saying that the cabin was right in front of a semi-busy highway. She did not lie! That, along with the broken shower, were the only two drawbacks. We booked last minute so our options were very limited but not being able to shower was a big bummer! Nice easy drive to Gatlinburg in pigeon Forge were a plus and the heart-shaped tub was fantastic!

Owner's reply: When we get calls & don`t have the requested time open, we do tell people of other renting options in the area. Jeff must have called us & ended up staying somewhere else. None of Miss Iva`s cabins have a heart shaped tub. Would love to have Jeff stay with us some time & maybe that 3 star would turn to a 4 or 5.

“Last Minute Getaway”

Reviewed 26 Jan 2015

My husband and I wanted a day away, and the owners were great at accommodating us at the last minute. The cabin was clean and quiet since there is no phone, extended cable or Wi-Fi which was perfect for us!

Owner's reply: Love to have new guest stay with us. Have Wi Fi in the Lull A By & Creekside cabins. Hope to have it extended to this cabin soon. All the cabins have cable TV/DVD

“Cosby Tn”

Reviewed 5 Oct 2014

Very nice owner let me know they were booked for the time we were wanting to rent and encouraged me to stay in another rental. Said I was in for a treat since this was my first time trying one. She offered several other places to try.

Owner's reply: We are here (Cosby) by choice & think it is a great place to live, but also a perfect place to stay for visitors as well. Gladly will share others (who we know) that have cabin rentals in area that are reasonably priced & pet friendly (without breaking the bank). So if we do not have open dates in the three cabins here at the garden of eden cabins, we my be able to help you find one. Always glad to help.

“Away from it all”

Reviewed 11 Jul 2014

If you are looking for true peace and quiet, away from the beaten track this is definitely worth a stay - very clean, private and pet friendly. The only suggestion I would have is to upgrade the LR couch and add a small recliner - you will love the new bed though.

Owner's reply: Thanks for the review & will be getting another couch. Don't think a recliner would work when we have 4 people (& pet) in the cabin & have enough room. The cabin was once a 1 BR & is now a 2 BR with expanded bath, did not enlarge LR, but feel it is a great value for the price. Hope to have you back with us when visiting the area.

“Oasis in the woods”

Reviewed 3 Apr 2014

Iva is a gracious host and has the perfect getaway. We appreciated having our dogs with us. The privacy and seclusion was amazing, never mind being immersed in all of the natural beauty. The cabin was perfect and the beds were comfortable (I rarely find beds comfortable on trips). We were on our way to Myrtle Beach from Indy, so Gardens of Eden was a perfect half-way stop, too. We can't wait to return.
