Reviews for this vacation villa rental in Courtenay, British Columbia, Canada
Long Beach, CA
October 9, 2012
We enjoyed our stay at the beach house. The view is lovely and the house has a great location. The kitchen is very well equipped for cooking, the living room furniture is comfortable and the home is clean. We don't want to complain, but have a few suggestions. The beds are not very comfortable. A memory foam topper or new mattresses would be a plus. Also, there is no telephone to make local calls. This was unexpected. When you are visiting from another country it is costly to use your cell phone to make dinner/golf reservations, etc. We have rental properties in Palm Springs and they all include telephones to make local calls in USA and Canada. We just assumed the rental would include a phone. Again, just suggestions.....Best wishes, Sharon and Craig Parrish

Thank you very much for a wonderful visit to the Bayside Beach House! I can't imagine a better place to relax and enjoy the beauty of Vancouver Island. The beach house is so warm, inviting and impeccably decorated, with all the conveniences one could want, and the natural setting and ocean views were spectacular. Loved having a bonfire on the beach under a moonlit sky. We definitely look forward to coming back soon!

Yours is a most excellent house! There is sooo much to say, we will sum it up in our List of Favourite Things: Morgan: hot tub, kitchen window pass through, sleeping in the bunky Sandy: beach fires, dartboard, the great stereo Ruby: the view, the morning sunrise, the peacefulness Mary: waking up to the ocean, soft, warm air, the "Glendale" sign on the bunky door, the visible ying/yang of Robin and Pierreeverywhere in the house It is spectacular here! P.S. The pan-fried oysters at The Highwayman Pub are a must for all guests! Yum!
