The barn has has a light, bright decor offering a homely, cottage feel to it. The open-plan, tiled living area makes it a perfect summer cottage for families wanting to come back from the beach, jump straight in the shower and be able to keep mess to a minimum. However if a winter break is more what you are looking for, the log burner in the sitting area is perfect for curling up in front of adding a real ambience to the barn.

Due to its central location, Apple Barn will appeal to those who like to be within a close walking distance from Crantock village’s facilities, as well as being just a short drive from all of Cornwall’s sporting, leisure and other attractions. Crantock Beach is also just a five-minute walk from the barn, making it an excellent spot for surfers and beach lovers.

Outside the property guests will find an enclosed patio and garden area that is accessed via the front of the property.

Amenities: Oil fired central heating, wood burning stove. Dishwasher, washer/dryer, fridge/freezer, TV with FreeSat, DVD, WIFI, Hi-Fi system, HDMI connection for game consoles. Fuel, power and starter pack (in cold seasons) inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc in rent (beach towels are not provided). Travel cot, highchair and stairgate available on request. Off-road parking for one car and additional charge parking at the Village Hall, additional cars may be parked in the village out of season. Enclosed rear garden with BBQ and furniture. Two small well behaved dogs welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub 2 min walk. The refundable Occupancy Deposit will be requested on arrival. Check in time of 4pm. No stag/hen or similar. There is a £40 charge per pet. The gardener may need to visit during your stay. Please bring your own bedding for the travel cot and padding for the base. Please do not allow dogs upstairs or on soft furnishings. This property has a refundable Good Housekeeping bond of £100, please be aware that if guests who bring dogs do not clear up after them in the garden and ensure there is no dog hair in the house after their stay, they will forfeit their bond

Region: Cornwall’s visitors are constantly tempted back to the beautiful coastline, tiny fishing villages, hidden coves and the world-class surfing. Whatever the reason, Cornwall has long cemented its place as one of Britain’s premier holiday destinations.

Town: Crantock is a small Cornish village, set back from the coast, close to the popular resort of Newquay. If you want to escape the crowds, yet still be close to the action, this is the place to be. There's stunning countryside all around and lots of pretty villages to explore; however, it is the coast that dominates. Enjoy superb walks along the coastal path over dramatic cliff-tops, or magnificent surfing on beaches stretching from Watergate Bay in the North to Fistral beach in the centre of Newquay and on down the coast. There are a number of golf courses in the area, as well as National Trust properties, traditional pubs and outstanding restaurants. Newquay itself is a visitor's paradise with a wide variety of shops, pubs and restaurants, plus attractions such as the Sea Life Centre, Newquay Zoo and nearby Dairyland and Eden Project.
