Located on Atlantic Ocean in Crescent Beach which is located on Anastasia Island 10 minutes from historic St. Augustine, Florida (the Nation's oldest city).Beautiful unspoiled beach with soft white sugar sand, very wide with dunes and 8 miles long,A1A has sidewalks from the pier at St. Augustine Beach to the pier at Flagler Beach (A1A from Crescent Beach to Flagler Beach has been designated a scenic highway).Beach is perfect for walking, shelling,boogie boards, surfing,fishing, biking,windsurfing.or just relaxing. Condo close to restaurants and shopping and 10 minutes away from historic downtown and about the same from the modern area with Outback,Wal-Mart,etc. Lots to do for kids in St. Augustine and very kid friendly with lots of families and couples coming to see the oldest city in America. Q: Is this property directly on the Atlantic Ocean at Crescent Beach?
A: Yes, every room in condo has spectacular water views, to the east the Atlantic Ocean and beautiful unspoiled Crescent Beach and to the west, the Intracoastal Waterway (Matanzas River) where the navigation markers come so close to the shoreline that you can watch barges, sailboats, fishing boats and luxury yachts go by.
Q: How far is historic St. Augustine?
A: The oldest city in America is a ten minute drive directly up scenic A1A to the north passing Anastasia State Park and the historic St. Augustine lighthouse and St. Augustine Amphitheater (lots of big name music acts perform here) as well as the Conch House Marina and Resort which has watersport rentals and restaurant overlooking Salt Pass.. To the south is the second Spanish fort, Fort Matanzas, Washington Oaks State Park, Matanzas Inlet for fishing and shelling, Marineland (swim with dolphins) and Flagler Beach.
Q: Is this condo updated and fully equipped?
A: We have done several major renovations since we have owned, the most recent in 2015 where we changed the ceiling from popcorn to knockdown textured, painted, redid accent lighting, put new carpeting, blinds, tiled bathrooms and master bedroom vanity area, replaced bath counter tops with granite and redid showers to modern seamless showers and tile.
The condo has everything you need except food and personal items. We have modern new appliances, furniture, bedding and electronics. (Hey we stay here too you know) Truly a home away from home.
Q: Is there internet and full range of television channels?
A: Yes, we have ATT Uverse service with 280 (hd where available) channels, dvr, password protected high speed wireless internet and long distance and local landline phone service. We have a 42" flatscreen tv in livng room, 32" wall mounted flat screen in master bedroom and in each guest bedroom a 19" tv/dvd/cd combo flatscreen. We also have dvd/vcr player wiith an extensive video library.
Q: Is there a gas grill?
A: Yes, a communal gas grill and picnic table is provided by pool for owner and guest use. We request you respect this amenity and clean up after your use.
Q: Is the beach boardwalk accessible to strollers, bikes, etc.?
A: Yes, Windjammer just replaced the beach boardwalk with a new ramp style that allows easy access to strollers, beach carts, bikes, etc.
Q: How do we pay for rental?
A: We require a $250 security deposit to complete the reservation. Upon completion, you will receive a very detailed guest confirmation packet in the mail with los of info about the condo, complex, St. Augustine, rental agreement, condo rules and regulations and rental invoice with due date. We require payment 30 days before arrival unless other arrangements are made with us. via personal check, money order, bank transfer (we do not accept credit cards). For refund of deposit, on weekly reservations you must cancel 30 days prior to your scheduled arrival date. For refund on reservations 28 days or longer, you must cancel 60 days prior to arrival date. There will be a $50 non refundable administration fee for all confirmed reservatrons which are canceled or changed.
Q: Explain the security deposit?
A: This security deposit along with a copy of your driver's license is required to confirm a reservation. An email or telephone reservation is not confirmed until receipt of security deposit but we will hold a tentative booking for a reasonable length of time for security deposit to arrive. The deposit is refundable within 15 days of departure after unit is inspected for loss or damage and return of all keys, gate cards or clickers.SECURITY DEPOSIT DOES NOT CONVERT TO RENTAL PAYMENT AND IS DEPOSIT IN A NON INTEREST BEARING ACCOUNT. DEDUCTION WILL RESULT IN A BALANCE DUE UPON ARRIVAL.
Q: Explain the cleaning fee?
A: We charge a $90 exit cleaning fee ($125 for two weeks or more) which is taxable. The maid will do a standard cleaning upon your departure (what this entails is clearly spelled out in your guest confirmation). If unit require heavier cleaning, this additional cost will be deducted from the security deposit. Daily maid service is not provided other than the exit clean. Tenant is responsible for daily maintenance of the unit and vacuum, mop, brooms, etc. are provided in the unit.
Q: Are there grocery stores and restaurants nearby?
A: Yes, Publix Supermarket and Winn Dixie are located 6 miles north as well as liquour stores, seafood stores, and lots of restaurants.
Q: Can you walk or bike on beach? Lifeguards?
A: Yes, Crescent Beach is very wide and long with unobstructed beach access. The sand gets hard at low tide so easy to walk, run or bike.
There are no permanent lifeguards at our area of Crescent Beach, though during the busy summer season the beach patrol does put temporary stations (call beach patrol for information) and does patrol the beach on ATV's year round.
Q: Sunrise and Sunset?
A: Yes, you will see the sunrise over the Atlantic Ocean directly from your condo and the sunset over the Intracoastal Waterway directly from your condo. A special place where you can stand in the middle of the condo and see both waterviews east and west.
Q: Balconies & Patio Furniture?
A: Yes, there are balconies accessed by sliding doors on both the east (ocean) and west (river) side of the condo. We provide 8 high quality sling back patio chairs which are stackable and interchangeable and two high quality matching tables.
Q: Wildlife and Dunes?
A: Yes, we are sitting right on top of a protected natural dune where you will see beautiful dune flowers, gopher tortoises (protected species) marsh bunnies, black and rat snakes (they share burrows with tortoises). Pelicans fly by all the time and with practice you will see dolphins in the icw and at the right time of year right whales in the Atlantic Ocean.j We do have nesting sea turtles and they are protected with light restrictions during their nesting season. Their nests are marked and protected with stiff fines but if if you are lucky you may be here when they hatch, quite a site to see.

We are a natural beach and ocean and we try to live peacefully with all the critters that live here. The dunes are protected and we take that seriously having spent monies to maintain our dune in a healthy and natural state. We do get occasional midgets and bugs but generally the ocean breezes keep this at a minimum.
Q: Fishing?
A: Fishing can be done from our ICW fishing dock or directly on the beach. Devil's Elbow boat rentals and bait shop is just a few miles north of the condo and they can provide boat rentals, bait and advice. ICW hasa flounder, sheepshead, trout and redfish, ocean has bluefish, and whiting.
Q: Cooking?
A: I love to cook so our condo is well equipped with all the small appliances (blender, mixer, electric teapot, crockpot, electric frying pan, George Foreman grill, coffee maker, can opener, iron) as well as ample pots, pans, knives, bowls, serving dishes high quality plastic dishware and glasses as well as corian dishes and glasses including wine glasses and martini glasses.
Q: Linens & Beds?
A: Weprovide hotel quality white bath linens (8-10) and 2 sets of sheets for each bed and microfiber blanket ncluding the two sofa beds. The sofa beds (one in 3rd bedroom/den and one in living room) have high quality quilted toppers for added comfort and all mattresses have hypo allergenic mattress covers. The master bedroom has a new Sealy pillow top mattress and foam topper and the guest bedroom has two twin beds with new mattresses.
Q: Closet Space and Garage Storage?
A: We had lived here for 6 years so we have California Closets in each room with double rods and extra shelving. The kitchen area has two large pantries and the master bedroom has large walkin closet and linen closet and both guest bedrooms have closets. The full size washer and dryer are in a closet in the kitchen area with ample shelves and hanging space.

We allow guests to use our storage shed in the garage area while here. There are ample beach chairs, umbrellas, toys, boogie boards for guest use and room for guest to store their beach items without having to take them up to the condo.
Q: Full Size Appliances?
A: This is a 1520 sq ft luxury condo, a home not a hotel room. All appliances, furniture are full size and include refrigerator with icemaker, range/oven, dishwasher, garbage disposal, microwave, washer and dryer. We carry a maintenance agreement on all appliances and our air conditioning system. The A/C unit is checked quarterly and new filters are provided.
Q: Repairs, condo issues?
A: As much as we try to maintain things, during the busy season things can break down. I am always available either by text, email or phone and will respond to your issues promptly. We do repairs on an emergency basis first and then at the earliest scheduling available. We do have a emergency contract on the A/C unit . we know Florida can be rough without A/C/

Issues outside the condo are handled by the condo association and there is an onsitre office with association representative as well as an onsite maintenance man.
Q: Codno Rules and Regulations?
A: Yes, this is a communal property so there are rules and regulations. A copy of them is provided to you in your guest packet as well as in the elevators and in your unit. Basically they are simple, treat the property,our condoe, the other guests and the beach and wildlife with respect and follow the golden rule and you will have a great vacation. Windjammer is a laid back property, mostly for retirees, families with children, couples, who want to enjoy the natural beauty of our area. It is not party central. Children must be supervised at all times, there is no lifeguard at the pool or beach. This is a private property available for transient rental,not a hotel resoert but a home to all the people who live and visit here. Failure to abide by the property rules can result in eviction.
Q: Boats, Kayaks, Bikes?
A: Yes you can bring a boat and leave it in our outside parking area for up to two weeks. You cannot tie the boat to our fishing dock. You can bring kayaks or bikes, check with onsite office for storage locations.
Q: Pets?
A: Since we rent our unit out, we do not allow pets due to the allergy and health concerns of our future tenants.
Bringing an pet into our unit will result in a request for you to board your pet elsewhere or eviction as well as loss of your security deposit.
Q: Parking & Gate Access?
A: There is ample parking at our condominium complex. One vehicle can be parked in the covered garage with a
parking pass which I will supply to you, additional vehicle(s) must be parked n the outside parking area but they do not need a parking pass. There is a gate at the entrance which can be opened with the code which will be supplied to you in your guest confirmation packet. For monthly rentals, we supply a gate clicker.
Q: Kids?
A: We have lots of families with children who come to visit. A beach condo is perfect for kids they can play at beach take a dip in pool come up to condo for snack take a nap watch a movie and do it all again. St Augustine is very kid friendly with lots to do for kids of all ages from goony golf to ripleys believe it or not to alligator farm marine land pirate museum and pirate cruise ghost tours
