Reviews for this vacation cabin rental in Dahlonega, Georgia
December 8, 2015
We rented this "cabin" to celebrate a 40th birthday party with 12 of our closest and best friends. The property couldn't have been more perfect! It is a stunning home surrounded by a spectacular view! It is a splendid spot to unwind and enjoy nature. We even enjoyed lunch and shopping in Dahlonega's quaint downtown. Wish we had more time so that we could have visited wineries around the area. The owners are phenomenal to work with as well. We greatly appreciate all they did for us! Looking forward to renting this home again in the future.
As good as described

A large family gathering during a very hot period in the north Georgia mountains was comfortable and totally enjoyable. Plenty of room for little ones to run, and big ones to sit. Great kitchen, we cooked 3x each day. Easy to rest, enjoy, and travel to the near by tourist destinations. We would do it again, very much a great value.

We loved our stay at Monarch Lodge. - Great location by the river - Close to the wineries in N. Ga - Great group space I would reccomend this house to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway! Note that someone lives full time above the garage but they were no bother at all to us. Great experience!

We enjoyed our stay. We were there for my daughter's wedding. There was pleanty of room for my entire family and there was also opportunity for us to escape into our own individual family units when needed. The heat did go off on Friday night and it was extremely cold, but that could have been operator error. Perhaps written instructions would be helpful. Overall, a good time.

The home was large and had a beautiful view. Close to vineyards and winding roads through the mountains. I felt a little trapped being so far from anything, but maybe because I was there an entire week. If I had stayed only 3-4 days I think it would have been fine, but if you like being away from the hustle, this is the place for you. The only real cons were the house felt like it had been closed up for a while when we arrived so I had to re-wash linens and towels and let it air out. The other was that the out door seating consisted of fold up chairs and I would have expected nicer outdoor accomodations considering where we were and the large outdoor decking.

This cabin had everything you would need plus more! It was beautiful! I didn't want to leave! There was plenty of room for everyone and plenty of bathrooms for getting ready in the morning! The kitchen was every woman's dream, with lots of space! The view from the deck was breathtaking with beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Such a nice place there was no need to leave, but it was convieniently located to wineries and downtown. Everyone wants to go back!
listen to some of the gossip...
“Thank you for allowing our bicycling group to rent your beautiful home. The home and surroundings were magnificent. Eight of our masters cycling group successfully completed the famous 6 gaps 100 mile bicycling tour on Sunday and it was wonderful to stay together in such a comfortable home.â€

“The wonderful mountain retreat was everything your promo described - - and more. Each of the five couples appeared to have a great time and most agreed that "this was the best place we've gathered!"
You have a wonderful house with great views. My family enjoyed your beautiful house and stay. It was full of luxury and very accommodating to all of us. You are very fortunate to have something so beautiful and share it with us. It is in a great location.
