The River House is spacious and tastefully furnished and comfortably harmonizes with the beauty of the surrounding nature. It sits on 4.2 acres; a park like setting located at the end of a private road, very beautiful and peaceful.A wonderful place to create, play, relax and rejuvenate. Two writers have completed books while staying downstairs at the River House. There are walking trails, artistic stone circle, and a firepit. This property is also available for purchase.
This is ideal for the person or couple that want to step out of time. I do have personal pets: a dog and cats so if you have an allergy to animals you need not inquire. They tend to steer clear of strangers unless you are an animal lover. Please call or email if you have questions.

Reviews for this vacation home rental in Dahlonega, Georgia
A magical place to be.
A magical place to be.

A place to be quiet, to laugh, to kiss, to sleep soundly, to read, to walk and to be still. Very private. Right on a calm relaxing part of the river and just a short walk to some rocky rapids. We loved the library and the porch and trail and the fire pit and the Trillium and the May apples and the trumpet vines all blooming.

I went on my first vacation alone and stayed at the River house...I had such a wonder peaceful time...Nature walks, wild flowers everywhere, the peaceful sound of the river..Beautiful home close to an adorable town...very friendly people...So many mountains to climb..Ann was very helpful ...You have something to do everyday..Tubing right out the back door, fishing great......I just loved seeing all the animals, ducks, hummingbirds...Great place to replenish yourself...
A very special place. A great way to step away from the everyday life and slow down and step into the rhythm of nature.
