This Cottage was just as advertised. The view from the back deck is serene, and great. There was plenty of room for the seven of us. I would return.

Grandparents, son and teenagers stayed together for a week in this perfect floor plan for our needs. The younger set went to D.C, Annapolis and Baltimore while the older two stayed in the area. Neighbors are as friendly as if we lived there. Downtown Deale resturant serves 1/2 pound hamburgers! Prices in the area are very reasonable and convienent. It is a very friendly and safe neighborhood. Like all other visitors we believe the bayview from the house is terrific.

Looking for a quite piece of summer? Well look no further! This well appointed cottage in a quiet community on the shores of Chesapeake Bay is the ideal spot to sit awhile. The setting is wonderful, particularly the chairs by the dock that are the ideal place to start or end your day. At the same time the cottage is near a wealth of activities that suit every taste from the sailor or kayaker, to the hiker, to the museum goer or the history buff. There is something for everyone, young and old alike. Eventide cottage was a charming pied-a-terre from which to explore the cradle of American history, without having to set aside any of the comforts of home! What a jewel and a delight.
