Such a great experience!

We spent a long time searching for a dog-friendly rental. I'm so glad we found this cabin. It's fantastic! Fenced in yard, lots of space, and even a super dog-friendly winery nearby. We had such a great time. The property manager is responsive and helpful. We'll be back, for sure.

This place is so cozy and rustic that it lifts your spirits as you walk in - you feel like you stepped back in time into a charming cottage. Three women and 2 pups - I don't know if the people or the pups loved this outing more. The fenced in back yard was great for the pups and us as it tired them out. Thank you for sharing this home with us. I am certain I will be back.
Love this cottage!

What's not to like? From the great yard, to the great decor, to the outstanding location, this cottage has everything. We were especially excited to be able to bring our dogs who loved the yard and were all tired out when they got home. We got to enjoy polo, Marriott ranch, and even fit in a few wine tasting experiences. The cottage is wonderfully decorated and has everything you need for a weekend or longer! Loved it!!!
What a great time it sounds like you and your friends (2 & 4 legged) had at the Cottage!
We strive to keep improving the experience for our guests and the expanded and re-fenced yard will be completed later this week, which will allow you folks and others to enjoy even more time for yourselves while the pups will be free to roam...
Hope to have you again as guests this Fall.
Great place to escape from it all

Beautifully renovated country cottage, superbly decorated to match its rustic charm, located on a gravel road near I-66. Property management very responsive to your needs. Has wifi, cell service limited in the some of the area.

Our visit was too short!

We were visiting family for the weekend and needed a place to stay. Moreland cottage was the perfect spot! It has everything you could want--clean, comfortable, beautiful and quiet--all the amenities of a five star hotel! The best night's sleep--very dark and serene. No city noises or lights! We enjoyed our morning coffee while sitting on the front porch. I could envision spending lazy days there. But, we had things to do--polo at night, wineries during the day.. We will definitely be back. Next time for a longer stay!

Needed a last minute getaway and came across Moreland Cottage, and glad I did! Got there very late on a Friday evening and suspected immediately we should have planned to stay longer than a weekend. And as predicted, when Sunday came none of us really wanted to leave. Even our dog had a great time running around and exploring the expansive grounds. The cabin was exactly as advertised. Very clean, comfortable, and had everything you would need for a great escape. Will definitely be back!

We had a lovely visit at this cabin. Very convenient to a number of wineries and a great place to relax for the weekend. Hope to come back for a return visit in the near future!

This cabin/cottage is one of kind. The atmosphere is just breathe taking. I will definitely come back again. The whole experience is one of kind. I had a small gathering with friends to celebrate my 31st Birthday and they were all amazed with the cottage. It was clean and well maintained. Outstanding experience.

The weather was perfect, and afforded a great opportunity to get outside and enjoy the fresh country air. The cabin is as described, and very well appointed with furniture, etc. The architecture and the manner in which it was so lovingly and authentically restored was beautiful. We really enjoyed our stay and the fact that our best friend Max (the sweetest yellow lab you'll ever know) could travel and stay with us was a huge plus. What a fantastic opportunity to enjoy the richness of this beautiful area, and the fact that there were so many wineries in the area made for a superb getaway. Thank you so much..we'll definitely be back!
Oasis of comfort and relaxation!

Lovely cottage in a quiet country road of Northern Virginia yet only 50 mins from Washington. The cabin is well appointed with all the amenities one may need for a short or long term stay. The log cabin has been fully modernized and the decor is charming. Best of all although in a very quiet country road our location was only just minutes away to many wineries and other tourist attractions particular to that area of Virginia. We would certainly return as our 4 nights stay in late August and early September left us wanting more time to enjoy this wonderful cottage and more days to discover that beautiful area of Virginia, so a return trip is in our future plans. We would highly recommend the cottage to anyone who might be considering a visit to this part of Virginia.
Wonderful stay and coming back for sure!

Our family of 5 needed to get away from the city forafew weeks and found this great little cottage. It was perfect for everyone's needs as we have a teenager, preteen and a 4 yr old. Being so close to the winery's was great. Also, we enjoyed going to Twilight Polo in The Plains because of the great location. There is a great spot set up for a outdoor fire that we utilized a few times. My husband and I would enjoy sitting on the porch in the morning with our coffee and again in the evening with a glass of wine. There was plenty of space to have a little gathering of friends too. We can't wait to stay in the cottage again!
