Description of the Delray Beach vacation apartment rental
Our Grovenor House listing is a one level corner apartment on 2nd floor, w/ 2 elevators to the first floor. It rents for 3 months at a time. The longer the rental, the more negotiable the price. The apartment's large living-dining room overlooks a million dollar view of lawn and the Atlantic Ocean with its pristine beaches. (The distance to the water is less than a minute and half, across A1A) The apartment floors are the original terrazo from when the building was built in 1955. There are two sofas ( one is a Queen sleep sofa) and five upolstered chairs for ample seating. An entertainment center contains a cable TV/HBO with DVD player and VCR. There is a wireless internet connection throughout the apartment. The back wall is mirrored, to reflect the ocean. There is a round dining table, which easily seats four, but it expands with leaves to seat 8-10. The kitchen has been completely renovated and contains new basic appliances, along with blender, expresso maker, condiments and washer-dryer. (For large loads, there is the common laundry room). The master bedroom has a king-size bed , wall-mounted TV/cable, black-out drapes and shades., ceiling fan, and overlooks a pool next door. The front bedroom has twin beds, desk, cable TV availablility, celing fan, and overlooks the ocean. There is a charming porch in front corner with tile floors, a trundle bed, ceiling fan, and a round table that seats two. There are new sliding glass windows for the ocean view and breezes. The pool is 20 yards x 8 yards, is heated, and used for water exercising and lap swimming. Grosvenor House has consists of 41 units in a main building and two wings. Our apartment is in the main building, which is very desirable. It has been owned by our family since 1970, has never been rented before, and has many of our family furnishings. The two bathrooms have been remodled, one contains a whirlpool tub.,and the other a showr stall.
There is full time manager and maintenance man. The large lobby overlooks an awning covered terrace and the magnificent 20 yard heated swimming pool. There is a common grill and large party room for metings, BYOBs and bridge. There is a large community kitchen for larger events. The building is elegant and restored, sitting on A1A in all its speldor. IT IS TWO DOORS NORTH OF THE MARRIOTT HOTEL, and there is emergency care very closeby. The building meets handicap standards. Because the building is small, there is a community spirit, for those who wish to socialize; but there also are some that prefer their restful privacy. Reserved indoor parking. Security at all entrances. Price ncludes cleaning service once/week. Beach chairs and towels provided, as well as a hammock for the porch!
