“A Denmark Dream :-)”

We spent a week here this summer and it was fantastic! The view, the deck, the 5 bedroom camp, the charcoal grill, the fire pit was all wonderful. One of the best vacations yet for our family! Quiet, beautiful and relaxing!! Loved our stay! Would recommend to anyone especially people with children! The pond is so calm, a great place for kiddos! Thanks Denmark camp family for letting us stay!

Owner's reply: Thanks, Shelli! We are so glad you had a nice time. :)

“Great family getaway on quiet pond”

Reviewed 30 Jul 2014

My family and I had a great time here for two weeks. The five bedrooms were all bigger than we thought and we had plenty of room. Camp was very clean and the owners were very nice and easy to get a hold of with any questions. They even ordered and shipped two fans to us during our time there due to the hot weather. Long Pond is beautiful and very quiet. The water was refreshing, clean and clear and the sandy bottom extends quite far. We enjoyed using the kayaks and getting very close to the Loon on the pond. Its not far to Fryeberg, Bridgeton or North Conway which was nice for shopping. I would definitely recommend this place to any family looking for a nice quiet getaway. Deer flies and horse flies were annoying at times which is no fault of the owners, just the time of year I think. We wore wide brimmed hats to help with that. Thank you to the owners for sharing their camp with us....we enjoyed every minute.

Fantastic place, spacious rooms, has all the amenities. Lake is perfect. Deck overlooking the lake is perfect. Couldn't have asked for anything better. Family loved it. Pincus family very accommodating and pleasant.

Owner's reply: Thanks, Eller family!

“We loved it!”

Plenty of time, plenty of water, very peaceful and quiet. We swam across the pond every day, kayaked in the morning, saw a moose, enjoyed seeing and listening to the loons. The grandkids spend HOURS in the water with the flotation devices found on site, as well as the canoe, kayaks, and life jackets provided. Sleeping was comfy in good beds, the kitchen well equipped, the cottage very clean, and we wanted for nothing.

“Pleasant Stay”

Reviewed 19 Jun 2012

My husband and I rented this cabin for the a long weekend last month. We invited some of our family members to come with us. It was just what we needed. The cabin had something for everyone. We cruised around the pond in the kayaks and canoes and went swimming. It was interesting listening to the bull frogs nightly. We also saw snakes, a fox and a deer. We checked out an area disc golf course two days. We had a steamer feast one night. The cabin had all the amenities we could ask for and more. We had a nice relaxing stay.

“Great Family Vacation Spot in Denmark, Maine”

Reviewed 19 Aug 2011

This quiet lakefront Denmark, Maine cottage offers renters plenty of privacy, a sandy beach, swim float, kayaks, a canoe and a picture postcard setting. Our kids spent countless hours swimming, kayaking, fishing and just enjoying the lake. We enjoyed playing board games, reading and just enjoying this quiet spot. The nearby town of Bridgton was fun to explore with many great little shops, a terrific bookstore and a wonderful library. Lots to see and do in this area. If you're searching for a quiet get-away for your family, be sure to check out this great lake house!

“Serenity”

This cottage is clean and roomy. The lake is quiet and perfectly suited to letting children swim and kayak. The loons and the view complete the experience of relaxing in the hammock with a good book!

“Wonderful and relaxing”

Reviewed 26 Jul 2011

My family and I had a wonderfully relaxing vacation at this spot! It was quiet during the week and the swimming was fantastic. No motors boats to worry about! Was close enough to go to North Conway (20 min. drive) shopping or head to Bridgton to do some antiquing. Very clean camp, with plenty of room for everyone. Adequately sized kitchen, with all of the amenities of home. We enjoyed kayaking with the kayaks that the owners provided and was thrilled to find they had a book with pamphlets of "things to do" in the area. We were very pleased with our experience.

Owner Supplied Testimonials

The H family had a wonderful vacation week at your summer home. We were delighted to find the cottage to be more than we expected. We were entertained by the bullfrogs and two loons. The sun was our alarm clock. Z (9) B (11) loved to Kayak and fish. Maddy (1) learned to climb one step (thank you for the Baby Gate). Books were read, John Deere Tractor puzzle completed, found prized antiques ( and more). The stand fans were a blessing.
We were all reminded again how beautiful the State of Maine is and the Bridgton/Demark Area. All are asking if we could come back next summer for a week and if possible for two.

I just wanted to let you know we had a great time at your camp. The weather was great the water was even better.
