Reviews for this vacation condo rental in Destin, Florida
June 16, 2012
We spent a week at Sandpiper Cove in Destin, Florida. This studio condo was in a good location. It was a short walk to the beach and pool. The complex is nice and quiet. We enjoyed our time and would go back. The only reason I gave four stars instead of five would be because the condo itself lacked some essentials such as dish soap, toilet paper (they only give one roll), paper towels and an oven mitt. Otherwise, great stay.

A Home away from Home

Our family of 4 loved our stay at Caribbean Dunes #115. The condo was quiet, clean, and just the right size. The location was perfect - just across the street from the beach and also a very short distance to all the hustle and bustle of Destin. The kids enjoyed the pool and the bunk beds. We really enjoyed our stay here and we are looking forward to coming back soon.

Emailed the owner and we never heard back. We did not stay at the property as we were never given the chance. Not a good expierence at all.
You Get What You Pay For
June 1, 2010
I have never been so disappointed in a vacation in my life. This is not the first time that we have rented a condo in Destin. We always stay in a condo when we go to the beach. In every other place that we've stayed, a roll of paper towels was provided for our stay. Also, there was enough toilet paper for the duration of our stay. We are also provided with dish washing detergent so that we can run the dishwasher. Not so this time. There were no paper towels or dish washing detergent. Also, there was only half a roll of toilet paper. When we called to inquire about the toilet paper, we were told that she wasn't going to pay someone $50 to bring us toilet paper and that she only provided enough for the day of arrival anyway. Also, the place was filthy. The bath towels and wash cloths were stained. There was only one blanket in the whole place. The microwave was held together with glue. The whole place was falling apart. So, if you choose to stay at this condo, then you need to remember to bring toilet paper, paper towels, and dish washing detergent. Be prepared to clean the place right when you get there. You also might want to bring your own towels and wash cloths. Bring a pillow too, because the ones on the extremely uncomfortable bed are flat as pancakes. We WILL NOT be staying here or renting from this management company again.
