Able to sleep up to six people, this charming cottage is set in the heart of a village location in County Wexford.This fisherman's terraced cottage in the heart of Duncannon village, County Wexford, is over 100 years old and boasts a number of fascinating period features. The property itself is situated directly across the road from a golden stretch of sandy beach, making this a perfect place for anyone looking to spend their holiday on the beach. Accommodation in the property is comfortable and includes three bedrooms, a kitchen with dining area and a lounge with cosy open fire. The cottage is also well placed for local amenities such as the pubs and restaurants available in the village.

Amenities: Oil central heating with open fire in sitting room. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, TV, DVD, stereo/CD. Fuel, power and starter pack for open fire inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Please bring own beach towels. Cot and highchair on request. Roadside parking. Town: Situated in the south west of County Wexford, the picturesque fishing village of Duncannon is dominated by Duncannon Fort - positioned on a rocky outcrop jutting into the channel. To the west is Waterford Harbour which boasts a sandy beach, popular for swimming and sunbathing, as well as being home to the International Sand Sculpting Festival. With a few pubs and restaurants and a children's playground, the village of Duncannon is an excellent spot for a traditional seaside holiday. It is also possible to catch a ferry to the beaches Dunmore East – popular for their water spots – to shop for traditional crystal in Waterford, enjoy the music of Wexford Festival Opera each October or explore some of the historic houses and lovely walks which run throughout the region.
