beautiful Dunedin

March 18, 2015

We had a wonderful stay at Nautical landings. Such a beautiful spot. To see the dolphins up close was a sight to see and all the different birds that want to be friends. The area is perfect for everything and very quiet. Our grandchildren had a blast and it was so much fun to see them so excited{age 5-9].They even used the kayaks with there parents. Can,t wait to get back to that area next year

Palm Harbor Home

February 9, 2015

We stayed a month at this lovely older renovated home. House well done with attractive decorations. Home had all comforts for a home away from home! Fully stocked kitchen, bathroom and laundry room, cable TV and high speed internet. Brand new kitchen appliances made me feel I was at home. Close to Clearwater beach, lots restaurants, Pinnelias bike trail, large shopping mall and golf courses. This house and location has it all! Would definitely stay here again. Owner was always very quick to get backo to us when we had questions about house or area.

Owner's reply:

We're in Dunedin, not Palm Harbor, but we like the review! =)

Brilliant Holiday, Wonderful Property

December 18, 2014

We have just returned from a 12 night stay at Nautical Landings where we stayed in The Helm - this was a beautiful condo and everything was as described - the views where breathtaking and we had breakfast on the balcony and saw a dolphin swim right by and a stingray. The pass provided for Honeymoon Island was greatly appreciated and watching sunsets from the Dunedin Causeway were lovely - you could even walk to the Causway and into Dunedin via the Pinellas Trail which is close to the property so you didn't need to rely on the car all the time. We used the netflix in the condo and this was great and we were met at the property by Terri and she was great. You really would have a great time if you chose this place to stay. We hope to return in the future.

Owner's reply:

Thanks for coming, Angela! We'd love it if you visited again!!!

No view!!!

July 23, 2014

We stayed at palm coast resort #109 for a second time within 2yrs and last year was great with the view of the river from the back patio watching the dolphins as we had our coffee but this year not so great due to we had no idea they were painting the building and of course the giant orange high rise was parked dead center of our patio so our view consisted of that which was an eyesore and was there until the day before we left and only because it was broke down and had to be moved. Just wish I was notified in advance being they started painting in June and we could have rented else where so having second thoughts of renting there again especially when we drive 13 hrs to get there.

Wonderful time at Nautical Landings!

March 4, 2014

We rented the Port Bow for the first 3 wks of Feb 2014. At first glance I was disappointed in our choice b/c the oven wasn't clean, the chairs at the bar-height table were worn, and the baseboards were caked with dust. However, the view, the location close to the Pinellas Trail and Honeymoon Island, the other guests, pet friendly unit, the super comfy bed, and the happy hours on the dock made us quickly change our initial impression. We spent our days walking over the Dunedin Causeway, biking on the trail, playing golf at Dunedin CC, exploring downtown Dunedin, or going to the nearby beaches. We enjoyed checking out area restaurants and especially liked Ozona Blue, Kelly's, and Jolly Mons. Nautical Landings has bikes available for you use (we brought our own) and kayaks too. the dolphins come by daily as does the heron and egrets. We had happy hours, a potluck, and a game night with our housemates. Terri quickly addressed a couple of maintenance issues we had for which we were grateful. We tried to book again for next year, but the unit was already reserved:( We will be back tho!!

Relaxing family getaway

December 31, 2013

Fantastic stay. It was exactly as we expected based on the photos and description provided. Very clean and comfortable for our family of 4. All of the extras were a real bonus; beautiful view, fishing equipment, kayaks, BBQ, bikes and much more. We even saw dolphins from the dock! Terri and Kelly were both great to deal with and available during the stay if there were any issues or questions. You couldn't ask for more!

Owner's reply:

Thanks, Carol! We try so hard to make it a place we'd love to stay if we were the vacationers.

Come back and see us!

Wonderful location

December 26, 2013

This well equipped and comfortable condo, with a fabulous kitchen, was just right for us. The waterfront location with dock treated us to views of dolphins, and a manatee swam right by at arms length. The bikes were comfortable and fun and easy to ride along the Pinellas Trail. The owners did everything they could to make our stay just perfect. WE peddled to the state park at the end of the Dunedin Causeway to spend time walking the beaches and visiting the nature centre. Lots of golfing is located nearby, as is a large mall, grocery stores and restaurants too numerous to mention. We appreciated the high level of cleanliness the owner provided, and left the condo in the same shape that we found it. My only suggestion would be to replace the king mattress for maximum comfort. No hesitation in giving a full recommendation to Nautical Landings! Linda Cochrane, Ontario Canada

Owner's reply:

Thanks for the kind words, Linda! We try hard to make Nautical Landings the best place to stay. This is the first we've heard about a new king mattress - they were purchased only a year ago - but I'll be sure to address your suggestion promptly.

Our best to you!

Very nice but dog fee was high

Owner's reply:

Hi Sherrie -

We're so glad you thought it was very nice! Remember, the pet deposit was $150 and you received $75 of that back, so you really only paid $75 to have your dog there for the whole week. This is much lower (and better!) than the cost of a kennel. Plus, since we steam between any pets, it's important for us to recover the cost of that additional cleaning.

Thanks again for coming to see us - we hope you'll visit again!

NAUTICAL LANDINGS REVIEW

March 26, 2013

Property was as described: immaculate, and well equipped unit. Located on waterfront with a wonderful private for residents dock. Many extras were included and the owner/managers were very helpful in suggesting side trips, etc. What was very appealing to me was the location and also the size of the property. It was obvious that a great deal of care was given when renting, the compatibility of residents was wonderful, definitely felt like a friendship. I especially loved the outside deck overlooking waterfront. The only suggestion I would have is that when renting the upper units, there is a member of the staff to assist bring items up the narrow staircase to the living quarters.

Great place to stay

March 26, 2013

We enjoyed staying at Nautical Landings. It was as featured in the listing. It was a very relaxing location. Great to watch birds and dolphins off dock. We enjoyed using kayaks and bicycles. It was walking distance to grocery and restaurants, biking distance to town and state park Dunedin was a very pleasant, low key place to stay. Would highly recommend it.

Perfect Retreat!

January 17, 2012

My husband and I decided on a last minute weekend away. Luckily enough we found Annette's condo was available. Annette was fantastic she got straight back to me after the initial enquiry and we confirmed all the arrangements. This was my first time renting a vacation home and Annette walked me through it. She even sent me a text in the evening to make sure I had found the condo okay and everything was satisfactory. The Condo was in a great location, close to the town and beaches. The condo was also fully loaded with all that we would need for the short trip and the place was immaculate. Will definitely be returning for another trip.

Wish we were still there!

September 18, 2009

We had a fantastic stay at gulf landings, it was everything we had hoped, and more. The views were amazing, and the dock was such a lovely place to sit at night - we were surprised by all the fish! Dolphins went past every morning and evening, and we also saw manta rays from the dock. The condo had everything we needed and was really lovely inside. The kayaks were great, but it was way too hot to brave cycling! We would recommend staying here to anyone, and hope to return next year. Thank you so much!!

Great place for all ages

August 14, 2009

The condo and location was just as pictured - beautiful. It was wonderful sitting at the end of the pier in the evening to watch the sunset. At night, it was very relaxing. Our grandchildren (ages 6-14) enjoyed their stay -- fishing, kayaking, etc. They never uttered the words "I'm bored"!

Owner Supplied Testimonials
Guestbook

Lorie VanMeter from Indiana: It was a great experience waking up to the waterfront patio every morning, there was so much ocean life just off of the patio that we didn't have to venture out into the deep waters to watch life as it happens in the ocean. The kayaks were awesome, it was a great summer experience for my 14 year old son and his friend being able to kayak to the other islands. They also rode the bikes to Honeymoom Island, as soon as they got there they called to let me know how great it was to be able to get to the island by bicycle.
We saw dolphins 4 of the 7 days that we were there, sting rays just about everyday and several other sea creatures that you wouldn't find staying in a condo located on the beach. I loved it - it was great. I'm looking forward to coming back in 2009, possibly in the late fall of 2008 again if our schedules work out.
