Get away to a quaint, quiet, well-built bargain of a holiday cottage. You'll likely want to read a book on the "dock" deck overlooking a tranquil pond that hosts a nearly private island.
This property is available for a 6 month lease from May 1 until October 31 yearly. All utilities are included and the unit is fully equipped and furnished. It's perfect for someone in transition or someone considering moving to Dunedin full-time.
The well-insulated newly-updated air-conditioned cottage accommodations include two comfortable queen size bedrooms, a bathroom with a beautifully tiled walk-in shower, a great room with hardwood floors and an HD TV and (free) high-speed internet, a lanai (aka Florida Room) for dining overlooking the pond, and a well-equipped kitchen (with an LP gas stove). The kitchen is equipped with an oven/stove & microwave, dishes & cooking utensils, full-size refridge & freezer, toaster & coffee maker.
All bath & bed linens provided with access to a washer & dryer right off the kitchen in the shed/carport area.
The park has three swimming pools for your use, one of which is heated.

For the restless ones, the Tampa Aquarium, Tampa Zoo, Busch Gardens, Adventure Island and St. Pete Museums are easily accessible.
For physical exercise, pick-up the 54 mile Pinellas Trail just a short ½ mile bike ride from the cottage or drive 10 minutes to the famous Clearwater Beach or Honeymoon and Caladesi Island State Parks for beaching, swimming, snorkeling, sailing, wind-surfing, jet-skiing and kayaking.
The Dunedin area enjoys near perfect weather, with an average summer high of 80 degrees and a winter low of 62 degrees. Average rainfall is 50 inches per year with the usual summertime afternoon showers.
Back at the cottage around sunset, fire up the commercial grade grill under the island pavilion and have a picnic dinner overlooking the water. This little get-away is a refreshing alternative to the crowded high-rise condos you'll find closer to the water.

Immaculate and charming!

Such a nice experience. The owner has made this a beautiful retreat while at the beach. Sitting on the front porch in the morning drinking my tea was always a sweet way to start the day. There is little you need to bring except except whatever food you want to make. Beds are comfy and kitchen is well appointed. Dunedin is a really charming town. We enjoyed walking and dining there and rented bikes. The beaches are of course a great draw. I would go back in a heart beat

We were pleasantly surprised upon arrival. The cottage more than met our expectations. The amenities were abundant and the deckside lake was colorful and inviting for an afternoon of relaxation. The owners made an extra effort to see that we were comfortable and that our needs were met. We loved the spaciousness of the place, the design and the overall nautical theme. Would we stay there again? Absolutely. Bill and Sherry
