Description of the Eastham vacation home rental
Light-filled, spacious, pet-friendly home in Eastham close to the Rock Harbor area and Boat Meadow Beach. This contemporary home with cathedral ceilings accommodates 8: 4 BRs, 2 full baths. Huge deck, gorgeous views.

What's special about this house is that it is designed for maximum comfort, together-time, AND privacy. The four bedrooms are laid out in the house in such a way that nobody can hear anybody else. And yet the living room and family room provide great space when everybody wants to be together.

Two potential master bedrooms: one has connecting bath; the 2nd-floor master is larger, with meadow view. Other upstairs B/R sleeps 2 and has small private deck. 1st-floor LR with sliders to huge deck. Large, fully equipped kitchen, family/play room and a 4th BR in walk-out LL.

Perfect location; child-friendly, dog-friendly!: .3 miles from Boat Meadow Beach, one of the most beautiful beaches in Eastham, this home is a duplex (it shares a lot line with an adjoining house whose owner is almost never there); nevertheless, it is unusually quiet and separate, with absolute privacy in every direction. Leave all the blinds up and enjoy the stars without worrying about privacy.

The location is perfect: You can walk to the bay in less than 5 minutes, but it's only a mile or two from downtown Orleans, with its supermarkets, drugstores, toy stores, clothing stores, gift shops, and great restaurants.

Children are welcome and will be safe in this house. There is a family/game room downstairs for the kids on the walk-out lower level, with toys, games, building blocks, and a second TV.

Your (well-behaved) dog is also welcome.

Everything you need is already there: Here is what you can expect to find when you arrive: a sparkling, clean house, already equipped with paper towels, toilet paper, potholders, dish towels, coffee and tea, spices, shampoo and conditioner, dishwasher detergent, laundry detergent, tall garbage bags for garbage and recycling, videotapes, CDs, beach chairs, beach bags, sun protection lotion, a portable computer desk, wifi network, local guidebooks with coupons, maps, and lists of restaurants and places to shop. No problems, just relax in this generous, sun-filled, cheerful home.
In addition:
Washer and dryer on lower level.
Outdoor shower.
Two large yards: front and back.
Two decks: one large with double wooden swing, barbecue, table, chairs;
the other small and private with table and 2 chairs
Plenty of parking (huge driveway).
Fully-stocked kitchen, dishes, pots and pans, appliances, lobster pot and smoothie-maker!
Toys, books, cards, wood blocks, checkers, Red Sox-Yankees chess set, puzzles
Outdoor games include paddleball and croquet set
Bay beach a 5-minute walk away.

I am a writer and editor. I used to vacation with my family on the Cape every year, and every year I hated to leave. So when the kids were grown and the Internet made telecommuting possible, I came to live in this Camelot year- round. It was the right decision. I am thankful every day....

WONDERFUL HOUSE IN EASTHAM!

September 13, 2015

We stayed for a week with our very little grandchildren. EVERYONE had a great time. There is an ease and comfort in the house, and we LOVE the library! The bedrooms are placed apart, which allowed everyone a sense of privacy and no one was awakened by early morning cries for food. We hope to be able to rent this welcoming home again next summer. AND the beach that is down the road is a quiet and private one and perfect for young children. Being near STOP and SHOP turned out to be a great help.
