Description of the El Puerto de Santa Maria vacation home rental
The house is located in a gated community, detached from other houses, it is fully equipped and will comfortably accommodate eight people. It has 4 bedrooms, 3 full baths, a well-equipped kitchen and living/dining room with a log-burning fireplace. A private swimming pool is located in the back garden with an attached patio that enters into the house. Enjoy beautiful sunsets on the Bay of Cadiz on the rooftop terrace accessed through the upstairs bedroom.

The main floor has the living room, dining room, kitchen, a bedroom with a full size bed and a full bathroom. The second floor houses the master bedroom and 2 other bedrooms, 2 single beds in each, with another full bathroom. Access to the rooftop terrace is via one of these bedrooms. All the bedrooms have built in wardrobes. The lower ground floor is a large garage.

Area Information
The Costa de la Luz (also known as the Coast of Light) is in the Spanish province of Andalucia in southern Spain. El Puerto de Santa Maria is an old fishing town situated across the bay from Cadiz ( the oldest city in Europe) on the Atlantic Ocean just before entering into the Mediterranean. A lively town with many places to visit and numerous outstanding restaurants it is a short ten minute drive from the house for shopping, tapa bars, and bullfighting at the classic bullring. Enjoy delicious fresh fish at the local mariscos. Visit the famous Osborne Bodega and taste the delicious locally made and world famous sherrys. The house is a convenient staging ground to tour Andalucia or for just relaxing at the nearby beach. Explore this part of Andalucia: the town of Jerez de la Frontera is 20 min by car and has numerous bodegas and shopping. Jerez also hosts the world famous Royal Andalucian Schools of Equestrian Arts, which features twice-weekly shows that are an unforgettable experience. It also hosts the world famous Motorcycle Grand Prix for motorcycle enthusiasts ('Bike' week in El Puerto is not to be missed!!). The famous city of Sevilla is an easy hour away by car or train to visit the famous Alcazar and other historic sites. Take the water taxi to Cádiz and wander the streets of this ancient beautiful city. The house is located walking distance from the fashionable Puerto Sherry Marina, with surfing and sailing clubs, restaurants and cafes overlooking the Bay of Cadiz. The Golf Club of Vista Hermosa is conveniently located in the neighborhood behind the house. Walk to Playa La Muralla and enjoy the small beach or venture five minutes to the west and enjoy the longer Vista Hermosa Beach.

Deposits: For secure payment, we prefer direct bank-to-bank wire transfer. Banking information will be forwarded upon decision to rent. 300 euros is required upon making reservations with this amount going towards the 50% of rent that is required as a deposit 60 days prior to rental. The remainder of rent is two weeks prior to arrival. Prices are subject to change due to fluctuating currency rates - which can be good or bad!! CANCELLATIONS-Cancellations or changes will be reviewed on a case by case basis
Payment Options: Money Order
Other Fees: A damage deposit of 300 Euros is required. This must be paid immediately upon arrival at the house with the transfer of keys. The deposit is NOT applied toward rent; however, it is fully refundable within (14) days of departure, provided the provisions listed below are met. It is our only insurance that our guests will leave the house in good condition. We require this deposit to cover lost keys/lose of remote controls, replacement of broken basic kitchen supplies and appliances, and other items
