PRICING POLICY/ADDITIONAL GUESTS FEE:
The base rate ($150/per night) is for the first 5 guests. Each additional guest will incur a charge of $10 per day/night of stay. For liability purposes we must account for each guest who enters the house, including invitees. Overnight lodging is limited to up to 25 guests. Please note that prices can be adjusted should the number of guests vary for each day/night.
LARGE GROUPS WITH LONG-TERM BOOKINGS:
The house is well-suited for large groups bookings and we welcome them! We are open to negotiating the fee for large groups with long-term bookings. Please inquire with the owner or property manager for special rates.
PARTIES & EVENTS:
The premises may be used to host Parties and Events. For Day Events and Parties, we will make the premise available to you from 10am to 10pm. For Evening parties or events the property will be made available to you from 3pm to 11am the follwing day. Evening events and parties must end at 12am. The cost of Evening events or parties includes overnight lodging for up to 10 guests.
Event pricing are set for groups of 16 OR more guests. The house accommodates up to 50 guest attendees per party/event. Please inquire with the owner or property manager for special rates and guidelines.
We employ a cleaning service to clean the house after each guest check out. The cleaning fee is set at a graduated rate according to the number of guests per booking:
1-9 Guests - $130 per booking
10 or more guests - $ 150 per booking
Parties & Events - $150 per booking
A $20 flat fee is assessed for each accompanying pet.
We require a refundable $100 security deposit for each booking. The security deposit will be refunded 2 days after check out if there are no damages to the property, no smoking in the house ($100 fee assessed, if violated), no additional guests that were unaccounted for in the original booking fee, and no disturbances to our neighbors or neighborhood.
Guests with confirmed reservations will receive their check-in information, including the code to access the house, by 2pm on the day of arrival.
TRASH & RECYCLING POLICY:
We participate in our community's recycling program and we kindly ask that guests place recycling & garbage in separate garbage bags and designated bins (garbage bags are under the kitchen sink); separate them by glass & cans, cardboard & boxes, and other trash; place them in the designated bins located at the side of the house and we will take care of the rest!
OPTIONAL MAID SERVICE:
At Your Home Away From Home, you can also enjoy our optional housekeeping service! Simply kick your feet up, relax and leave the dirty work to someone else. For $100/week, our Maid-To-Order service includes laundering the bed linens and towels, disinfecting the kitchen and bathrooms, sweeping, mopping, dusting and cleaning the general premises. Simply schedule a time when you are away from Your Home on an excursion and our staff with take care of the mess! Inquire with host for more details.
POLICIES FOR USE OF PREMISE:
Below are the policies for use of the house. They are basic common courtesies, but unfortunately discourteous behavior by a few previous guests necessitates us spelling them out.
*no (unauthorized) parties.
*Authorized parties or events must end by 12am
*All Party and Event bookings must have a person 25 years or older assuming responsibility for the conduct and actions of the attendees
*no additional guests over the amount paid for
*keep noise to a respectable level
(There is a $200 penalty fee if the police are called to the house for any disturbances caused by you or your guests)
*Loud music/noise stops after 10pm for regular bookings; 12am for event or party bookings.
*do not park in or obstruct the neighbors drive way (you may park in our driveway (2 spaces) or on the street first-come-first serve basis.
*be respectful to and considerate of our neighbors and our quiet residential neighborhood
*No smoking in the house or garage (there is a $100 penalty fee if violated)
*No illegal or illicit activity in or on the premise
*Take care of the property and its contents (you will be charged for any damages that occur during your stay that are not covered under the insurance policy)
*No bonfires, hot pots/stoves, grills (other than what is provided)
*Property is NOT permitted for illegal use or activity.
We regret to have to state what we believe are common courtesy and basic decency and respect issues, but unfortunately it became necessary after a few of our guests were disruptive to and inconvenienced our neighbors.
*NO SMOKING POLICY:
Ours is a non-smoking property. Please refrain from smoking in the house. Feel free to smoke outside, on the balcony or in the backyard and dispose of all extinguished cigarette butts and discarded cartons in the garbage bins provided.
*Please note that if this no-smoking policy is violated a $100 fee will be assessed against your security deposit at the end of your stay.

Getting around is easy from Your Home Away From Home, whether you have access to a private car or opt to use public transportation.
As a commuter town, making your way from Elizabeth to New York City is a breeze! The bus to New York City is only 3 blocks away or a 5 minute walk. You can also hop on the NJtransit train which is 10-15 minutes from the house.
Making your way around by car is easy, too! The 1&9 or New Jersey Turnpike (I-95) and the Goethals Bridge are just minutes from the house and take you directly to Midtown Manhattan, Upper Manhattan, The Bronx, Brooklyn, Staten Island, and Queens.
For those of you flying into Newark Airport, a 15-minute taxi ride gets you straight from the airport to the doorsteps of Your Home Away From Home!

We arrived late in the evening after traveling over 18 hours to an area not familiar. The property was easily found via GPS and check in was exactly as the instructions. The home was spacious, neat, clean and we'll stocked with linens, towels and all appliances. This was the first time in 4 years our immediate family was together under one roof. In less than 24 hours we were feeling like we were really "at home!" As with any location in the city, parking was a challenge. The use of the two-car garage was not permitted in the rental but the dedicated double driveway proved to be helpful. Our stay was a positive experience and we would consider renting this location again. The process through HomeAway is quick, reliable and accurate. Thank you so much.
