“Very nice home in a beautiful area”

Reviewed 3 Sep 2016

Very nice home. Neat and clean. We enjoyed our stay. Great value. Quiet and restful and abundant wildlife which was beautiful. Resort personnel were very nice. Owner was very accommodating and helpful Did have a couple of mishaps - low grill gas and oven smoked when used (had to improvise on frozen pizza). Otherwise, it was a pleasant stay and will return to area again. Thanks so much!

“Wonderful!!”

What a wonderful place to stay for a trip to North Georgia! We stayed for 6 nights with our daughter and absolutely loved it. The owner is amazing, the property is beautiful and the entire process was smooth. I highly recommend this rental to anyone considering coming to the area!! You won't regret it. It truly feels like a home away from home - comfortable, clean, and inviting!

“Definitely a little peace of heaven”

Reviewed 3 Jan 2016

My husband and 3 sons stayed here for Christmas. The cabin's name is very accurate. It was certainly a little piece of heaven for us. The cabin was super clean. There were plenty space, blankets and pillows. Everything we needed. Walmart was 15 minutes away which was great. We saw deer families walking through the forest everyday! Took plenty pics. I am in love with this cabin and We would gladly return!

Owner's reply: Thank you for your kind words. We are so happy to hear that you enjoyed your visit and would be happy to have you back anytime.

“a short get away”

Reviewed 1 Aug 2015

We enjoyed our stay very much. The owner was wonderful to work with. It is very quiet and secluded from other houses. We enjoyed the short drive to the outdoor pool. The house has a good layout. I was happy to have the laundry on the main floor, and our kids enjoyed having the upstairs to themselves.

Owner's reply: Hi Jill. Thank you so much for being such great guests!! Let us know if you are ever vacationing in our area again, we would love to have you back anytime!! Thanks again!! Vicki

This cabin was very comfortable, clean, private and cozy. Felt like home away from home. Didn't even want to leave. Stay was for 3 nights. Thoroughly enjoyed our time there and would stay again. Only downside are the roads b/c some are very narrow and steep, plus difficult to drive on at night with no lighting. Other than that I would rate this stay a five. Great place to get away and regunvinate!!

Such a wonderful place. So cozy you feel right at home. It's located in a lovely gated community with beautiful scenery to take pictures. We had a wonderful time. There is a walmart and pharmacy nearby for whatever you need. If you want to relax and enjoy the mountains, get this place.

“Fantastic Fall Vacation”

Reviewed 22 Oct 2014

We are return vacation renters. It really is a "Peace of Heaven". Our family stays here every year to enjoy the Ellijay Apple Festival and the many local sights. We visited the charming town square in Ellijay, Amicalolla Falls, Blue Ridge, Toccoa Riverside, a Crafts Show and the Coosawattee River. So much to see. The home is always very clean and comfortable. We love cooking on the gas stove. Our family will definitely be back again.

Owner's reply: Thank you so much Marla and Darren. It's always so good to hear from you and we are so happy to know that your family enjoyed another visit to "Peace" of Heaven Cabin and the beautiful North Georgia area. We look forward to hearing from you again soon.

“Peace and Quiet in the Mountains”

Reviewed 18 Aug 2014

We stayed at Peace of Heaven cabin for two weeks. I was a little worried about staying in a "resort" thinking it would be crowded and lack privacy. I was very pleasantly surprised. The cabin is tucked away in a very secluded area and you can not see any other cabins. We did hear a vehicle pass on the gravel road once in a while. The first morning we were there, the deer were in the yard watching as I prepared breakfast. We never left the cabin without seeing deer or turkeys. We did not see any bear though. The resort is very nice with lots of trees and parks and the river runs through. There is tubing and fishing and canoeing. There are also three swimming pools which unfortunately I could not use since I developed a severe respiratory infection on the way up. I was able to get medicine and still enjoyed my visit. At first staying at the cabin reading and relaxing and then exploring the resort and the neighboring communities. The cabin is clean and exactly as described, we enjoyed our visit very much and look forward to visiting again.

Owner's reply: Thank you so much Maureen and Hugh! We are so happy you were pleased with the cabin but sorry you were sick and not able to use the pools. It does sound like you were able to get out and explore our beautiful resort which I like to think is more like a huge preserve with some roads and homes scattered throughout. :) We would love to have you back any time and will look forward to hearing from you whenever you are ready.
