Our newly constructed Angler's Retreat is perfect for groups 2-5 guests needing a clean, pleasant, restful, fly fishing ambiance. Offering unmatched views of the Madison Range and located 500 feet from the River itself, this guest quarters is a far better choice than a local motel. Downtown Ennis shopping and angling adventures await you 5 minutes away. On a sunny day lounge on the porched deck with a book in one hand and a cool one in the other. When a chill is in the air, step inside and watch our big screen TV from our cozy couch. Enjoying plenty of on-site parking, privacy, and peace makes The Angler's Retreat at Last Best Place tough to beat!
Area Information
The Angler's Retreat at Last Best Place is set among a few 1.5+ acre lots just outside the county/city boundary. Quietness, respect, and courtesy abound is this area of town. Its companion property, The Angler's Rest, is adjacent. The grounds are well maintained grassy lawns and stands of trees and flower beds. Birds and other forms of wildlife are frequent visitors to the area. The Virginia City gold fields are a few minutes away, while Yellowstone Nat'l Park is an hours drive away. Fishing opportunities abound, as a five minute drive takes you to the world famous Madison River or an hour's drive takes you to legendary waters like the Henry's Fork, The Ruby, the Big Hole, the Beaverhead, or the Gallatin Rivers.

A: Fly fish; boating, and water sports at nearby Ennis Lake and the Madison River; tourist attractions such as Nat'l Parks, museums and historical sites; shopping; relaxing
Q: Are linen and bedding supplied?
A: Yes! Everything from towels to sheets to blankets. However, bring your own beach towel if you plan to take a swim or float the lower Madison on a tube. Also, we try to provide comfortable pillows, but if you have a favorite pillow, bring that along too.
Q: Is the kitchen and laundry fully supplied?
A: Yes, we do our best to make sure everything you possibly need is at your fingertips. By all means, if you desire something in particular, ask and we will do our best to make sure it's there when you arrive.
