Description of the Ensenada vacation guesthouse rental
The casita is 1000 sq.ft.,tastefully furnished, one bedroom with queen bed. The kitchen area has granite countertops and center bar for dining. Off the kitchen area is a day bed with two twin beds, perfect for a couple of kids. There's a separate living room with Direct TV with local Calif. channels. There's a wonderful veranda with barbecue and dining table where you can sit and see the beautiful bay beaches and the city lights of Ensenada and a peak of the Pacific and surrounding mountains. Everything you need is provided, kitchen fully equipped, linens, towels. Just bring your toothbrush. The casita is attached to my house; however, it has it's own separate entrance and you have total privacy. I'm usually on the property and can help you find the best restaurants, beaches, and fun out-of-the- way places to explore.

This property is located in an exclusive enclave of estate homes in a semi-rural area. The bay beaches are only 10 mins. by car and the Pacific ocean below the property is drivable with 4-wheel. You can hike fantastic trails and the view is spectacular as we're on a peninsula so you actually have 360 degree views. We are very close to La Bufadora where the famous blowhole is located and you can shop, eat fish tacos, drink Margaritas and dance to salsa music. This is the perfect Honeymoon suite and romantic getaway.

We are located about 25 miles from downtown Ensenada, we have beaches on both sides of the property and are only minutes away. To the north of us is the famous Mexican wine country and there are always fun events to attend in the wine country.

San Diego, CA

This is more beautiful, romantic, peaceful and just plain awesome than you can imagine! My husband & I were looking for something within easy driving distance of San Diego for a long weekend to celebrate our anniversary, and being environmentalists, we particularly liked the idea of staying in an "eco-friendly" house. We were even more interested to see it after listening to the description of how it was built: All of the walls are recycled, discarded car tires! But, except for the rounded front corners, there is not even any indication tires were used at all. Very neat! We also liked the exposure of learning how an "altenative" composting toilet worked. It looks a little bit different, but works just as conveniently as an ordinary one, except it does not waste any water. So many great new ideas! So, besides being enviornmentally friendly, the house was wonderfully comfortable and cozy! The front opens into a breath-taking, panoramic view of rugged mountain ranges (great hiking!) that drop down dramatically about 600' to the ocean below. What an incredible place to sit and watch the setting sun each evening! At night we could hear the waves breaking on the beach far below and the quiet barking of the seals. One night, after cooking a romantic dinner in the great little kitchen, we enjoyed a primo bottle of local wine in front of the hand-tiled fireplace. We could not have asked for more! We are planning to go back for a week in the spring to explore the area!
