Description of the Estes Park vacation cabin rental
WHO WE ARE- - - After winding down professional life and moving into the retirement era, we took on the task of fully restoring 3 tiny "Old Estes" mountain traveler cabins. They are clustered together in the heart of the sublime Estes Park Region at the foot of Rocky Mountain National Park. The cabins are quintessential Estes Park.

This Mountain Life is about adventure and discovery, our experience mingling with the Region’s romantic loveliness. It’s exploration, reflection & redemption in a rugged wonderland setting. We love the experiences and share them with whomever we can.

Sometimes we open Redemption Cabin up to family, friends, and out of town quests. We have now hired VHR to provide a venue for safe and secure booking. No Service Fees and No Hidden Charges are ever paid by our travelers. We follow common sense procedures (Our Pact With Redemption Cabin Guests). Bottom line, we are caretakers. We attend to every detail. We expect our guests to treat the Cabin like their very own family heirloom and to turn it over on departure just like they first found it.

PROPERTY DESCRIPTION- - - "Redemption Cabin lives a storybook existence. It's an authentic mountain village experience in a great location."

It fits into the cozy-little-cabin by a rushing-mountain-stream category.

Redemption affords guests the rare opportunity to experience both Estes Park village life AND the full essence of Rocky Mountain National Park from one easily accessible extraordinary place.

The Cabin is perfect for singles, couples, friends (up to 3 adults), and small families (up to 4) seeking adventure, revival, or natural escape.

With Redemption, you get prime location. Redemption Cabin "is the perfect mix of location and amenities." Be sure and check out what past guests have had to say.

Redemption is in a picture perfect natural place. It is situated under the rocky crags and cliffs of Little Prospect Mountain just upstream of the merging Big Thompson and Fall Rivers. Check out our location on the panorama photographs and maps. Its perfectly situated. It's private. Yet, the area is well travelled by foot, bike, carriage and cars.

Out the cabin doors is a sanctuary of mature natural landscape, massive rock and old growth trees (Blue Spruce, Ponderosa Pine, Balsam Poplar), dappled sunlight, roaming wildlife, chirping birds, and rushing sounds of emerald water as clear and cold as the high-mountain glaciers above. Rainbow trout included. See: SURROUNDING AREA

The Cabin is fully stocked with character, vintage books, navigational and hiking maps, Rick’s Top Picks, and other interesting details. The kitchen, bath and comfort amenities are new. We provide all the essentials, pantry items, kitchen condiments, clean luxury linens & towels, special lighting, amenities and finishes throughout.

It's exceptionally clean, Eco-friendly, and smoke-free.

Redemption Cabin is walkable. Getting downtown and to the very best Estes Park has to offer is a simple downstream stroll along a cabin filled lane. There you will find local attractions, festivals, restaurants, coffee houses, wineries, craft beer breweries, retail shopping, green parks, outdoor concerts, walking & bike trails, and many other places to be active, quiet or still.

We invite you to experience Redemption and it's spectacular environment ... distinctive snow carved alpine terrain, rich sustaining mountain streams, unforgettable moments & restful sleep - all in perfect harmony. Your senses will be ignited, body refreshed, mind reprioritized, heart rejuvenated & your life reset; the promise of Redemption at its best.

AREA INFORMATION- - - Redemption Cabin is in the midst of endless adventure, born out of a picture perfect one-of-a-kind prime natural setting. We have easy access to the best of Estes Park and the Rocky Mountain National Park and surrounding vicinity. It is located at the southern tip of the historic Estes Park Downtown. It backs up to the rocky crags and cliffs of Little Prospect Mountain and fronts the last big bend of the Big Thompson River before it meets up with the Fall River a few more strides downstream. Both “rivers” are sparkling fast moving snow-fed streams that have their beginnings high up on the snowy Continental Peaks. Spring run-off peaks between June 6 and the 13th. The rivers flow to the sound of white water all year round. Energetic rainbow trout school in sandy holes just below.

This Mountain Life is walkable in every direction. Getting to the downtown commercial district with its abundant shopping and restaurants is a downstream stroll north along a cabin filled lane. The Historic Clatworthy Studio, Aerial Tramway, Eagles Landing Restaurant, and Prospect Mountain are upstream to our immediate South. Piccadilly Square, Rock Cut Tap House, Estes Angler, Hunan’s Chinese Restaurant, Sweet Basilico Italian Restaurant, the famous Donut Haus, the Rock Climbing School, Estes Park Microbrewery, and Smokin' Dave’s BBQ are another short walk up and around the bend.

Entrance into Rocky Mountain National Park, its wilderness, alpine lakes, trails and spectacular scenery is just a few miles west.

Good times are all around. Great mountain vistas also surround. Backyard or back country, wildlife is unsurpassed --- colorful trout, song birds, chipmunks, rabbits, raptors, bobcat, turkey, deer, elk, black bear & moose all hang around.

… Estes Park is a relaxing high mountain resort famous for its parks, cascading rivers, wildlife viewing, heart pounding vistas, outdoor recreation, good times & family friendly values. It is the only place you need to go to enjoy a vacation of a lifetime. It is a unique small town that can put you in touch with big nature and real Colorado. Each season is flush with magnificent days.

… Rocky Mountain National Park is one of America’s crown jewels and offers endless exploring, hiking, backpacking, camping, fly fishing, rock climbing, wildlife viewing, photo taking, snowshoeing, and back country skiing.

HISTORY- - - Circa 1914, Redemption Cabin has had a storied existence. It’s living history. The cabin logs were harvested, hauled to site, cut, stacked, spiked & chinked into walls by pioneers in the likes of John Cleave- the Park’s first permanent merchant, Enos Mills- the naturalist credited as the Father of Rocky Mountain National Park, and F.O. Stanley- the industrialist, co-inventor of the Stanley Steamer & visionary who had a big hand in shaping Estes Park as it is today. Despite all the change of the past 100 years, Redemption Cabin, shroud in nature's glory & simple humility, is still one of the most wild and beautiful places between sea & shining sea.

Both Redemption and RMNP just celebrated their 100 year anniversaries.
