If you're looking for a peaceful, relaxing vacation rental in a tranquil setting in the Western Mountains region of Maine, consider the rental of our secluded cape-style camp nestled amongst the birch trees on a knoll near East Kennebego Mountain in Lang Township, only minutes from Stratton Village & Eustis, Maine. 525 East Kennebago Road

This 3 BR four season camp has 1 ½ baths, sleeps six comfortably and is located just 2 miles off Route 16. A fantastic location for couples or families to relax and there are many opportunities to watch the deer and wildlife in the area fields.

It is centrally located in the perfect spot for all activities such as fishing or kayaking the South Branch of Dead River, Stratton Brook, Little Jim Pond, Big Jim Pond and Flagstaff. Rangeley shopping district is just 15 miles away. Moose Meadows, a 9 hole Par 3 golf course in only 6 miles away and Sugarloaf Golf Course is within a 20 minute drive. For the downhill skier, Sugarloaf Ski area is just 15 miles away, while Saddleback Mountain is about 20 miles away. Cross country skiing and the ITS 89 snowmobile trails are almost at your doorstep as well as the many ATV trails. If you are unfamiliar with the area, trails are well marked and detailed maps are available at many local businesses. Check out the Arnold Trail Snowmobile Club or Flagstaff ATV Club websites for more information on trail conditions. For the moose hunter, the camp is located in District 7 but District 8 is about 4 miles away.

On the main floor of this modern, four-season camp is a spacious and fully functional kitchen/dining area with an open living room, den/game room, full bathroom, 1 BR with a full size bed and a large deck overlooking the birches and field. The second floor has 2 BR's, one with two twin beds and one with a full size bed and crib. On the ground floor is a small family room and 1/2 bath with the other half a garage to keep your snowmobile or ATV out of the weather.

The entire cottage has a wildlife theme throughout. The den/game room is complete with a variety of board games; a TV to watch the collection of vcr movies or play video games. Or if you prefer relax on the front deck waiting for a glimpse of a fox, rabbit, moose or deer in the field below.
