About the area

Our Lodging area is a secluded wilderness setting with adjacent houses on 1,2 & 5 acre plots. The journey back to Evergreen is a beautiful 15 minute drive down Brook Forest Canyon. We generally sit on the eastern boarder of Mt Evans Wilderness Area, which boasts 14,400 ft Mount Evans and the highest paved driving road in the Continental United States. Evergreen Colorado is a very eclectic Rocky Mountain town just 50 minutes, or 39 miles from Downtown Denver. We are a short very beautiful 35 minute Drive to world famous Red Rock Amphitheater, and a short Drive to numerous hiking and mountain biking trails Evergreen is home to many fine and performing art venues along with shops offering unique local craftsmans western wares & creations.

Getting around

There is no public or private transportation options in our Mountain Communities including No Taxis, Uber or Lyft. The only way to be mobile is to bring or rent a vehicle. WINTER DRIVING CONSIDERATIONS; All Colorado Rocky Mtn Travel involves uphill and downhill driving. You cannot drive up and down hills on the day of a snowstorm in a 2/front Wheel Drive vehicle. In the Colorado Rocky Mountains we can have meaningful snowstorms starting in Sept and going thru May. Therefore; During snowstorm conditions you will need to bring or rent and All Wheel/4 Wheel Drive Vehicle as you cannot drive up and down hills in a 2/front wheel drive vehicle during snow storm conditions. We own and manage 9 Evergreen Colorado Wilderness Location Cabins and Cottages. They are all on 1 acre+ lots and are generally in walking distance to each other. You will not be bothered by guests at our other properties. You are invited to text us anytime if you need assistance. If we do not hear from you we will not initiate socialization and you will not see us at all. The quiet and Privacy of your Secluded Lodging Location is Very important to us.
