Very nice, neat and well maintained. Relaxing and functional decor. Nice bathroom and kitchen. Definitely would recommend this!
We recently stayed at this adorable condo/chalet right on the property of Nemacolin. The resort was booked, and not to mention, extremely expensive, and we found this rental property. There is a shuttle that comes right to your door and takes you anywhere on the resort property. You are also considered a guest of the property and can use any of the amenities, but just pay separately. The condo was clean and well stocked and the owner was very nice and easy to work with as well as the rental agent there at the property. Would definitely recommend to everyone.
“Relaxing Stay, Perfect Location”
I enjoyed my stay at the Lockwood Condo on the grounds of Nemacolin. Everything about the Condo was great. It was nicely furnished and very clean. The back deck was so relaxing. Being able to ride the resort shuttle was a real plus. I needed a place to vacation that was within driving distance from home as I had to work 1 day that week. This location was perfect, and I hated to leave at the end of the week.
We have been vacationing in this condo for a few years and as always loved it again this year. It is convenient to restaurants, and lots of activities, but very relaxing. The condo is very clean and has all the amenities we have all gotten accustomed to. We plan to return again and again.
“wonderful place to stay”
Just stayed at lockwood condo I for a month while visiting family in Pittsburgh. Had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Condo was great and the grounds are beautiful. Spoke to and emailed owner several times and she was a pleasure to do business with. If all goes well we will definitely stay again.
“Everything as Promised”
Doing transactions over the internet can be stressful. However as far as all things mentioned in the description of this condo are as advertised. Dealing with the owner and her representative was pleasant through the process. As far as the condo, what an attractive and quiet place to relax . We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay and will definitely return
This was our second stay. It was wonderful. The condo had all that we needed. The view of the woods from the den was fantastic. The trees were covered in snow and three deer bedded down one morning just across the creek. The roads and sidewalks were clean and the snow did not create any issues. We are going back next year to same condo.
Owner's reply: The condo association is very conscientious re snow removal. I know deer can be a problem, but they are beautiful to see in the woods thru the living area windows.
“Great couples getaway”
This townhouse is amazing. We loved the peaceful surroundings and all of the amenities. The shuttle bus is very convenient for getting around the resort and our massage at the Woodlands Spa was wonderful. We will definitely be staying here again. We loved everything about it!!
“1 Bedroom condo”
It was really a nice location in a heavily wooded area. It was cozy and clean and had everything needed for our stay. It had Wi-Fi and cable and all appliances needed for light cooking, even a washer and dryer. We would definitely stay again as it was much nicer then the Uniontown accommodations. There were many things to see and do at the resort and close by. The owner was great about answering any questions.
We are originally from the WV/PA area and returned in July. We decided to rent our own place instead of staying with friends and/or relatives. The Hwy 40 corridor has always been one of our favorite spots. Although passing Nemacolin Woodlands many times, we had never ventured onto the property. What a surprise. It worked out great. We were centrally located to most of our activities and having our own place to "call home" was delightful. The condo was adequately furnished to meet our needs and there was ample space for having guests. The washer/dryer was a big plus since we stayed for the month. The setting was great. It was very quiet, peaceful, and our neighbors were extremely polite. Probably one of our "best" trips back home since we left the area and I attribute most of it to having our own "place" and having the ability to fade away from all the activity when we wanted. Marilyn, the owner, was very helpful in making our trip a memorable one. I'm sure we will return on our next trip back home.
