Home away from home

January 3, 2012

This was one of the best experiences ever. I felt more comfortable than I do in my own home. This place had everything you could ask for, and thensome. Whether it was a pan, a tv on the wall, the hot tub, a fire pit!!! To top it all off a place for my dogs to run around and be fenced in and safe. This truly had it all. Not only am I am going to be coming back here, I plan on staying no where else if possible. I was here a full month and was not bored so I am sure anything less would be amazing as well. I just felt like I was not coming back to a hotel room at the end of the day, I felt I had all the comforts of home. Cook my own meals, shop for food, play with the dogs in the yard, star gaze from the hot tub at night. To include the red rocks pass was just icing on the cake! They really thought of everything. Dealing with the owners was great. So pleasant and easy going. The worst part about this was leaving and seeing that the place is pretty booked up in the near future, I want to come back!!!

Beautiful, cozy, clean home in a great location

May 22, 2011

We recently rented this house while on vacation and had a wonderful stay there. There was 4 of us (3 adults and 1 child) and we had plenty of room as the house is very spacious. We did a lot of searching on the internet for houses to rent and we were so lucky to have found this one. Not only is the house beautiful, it was very reasonably priced and the owners were an absolute pleasure to rent from. The pictures posted look nice but we were pleasantly surprised when we arrived at the home how beautiful it was. The owners have truly thought of everything to make this a very comfortable home and we really felt like it was a home away from home. The master bedroom is really big with a huge walk in closet and a beautiful ensuite bathroom. The other 2 bedrooms are really nice and all of the beds are really comfortable and the shower is awesome! The living room and dining room seating is very comfy and cozy and the gas fireplace is a perfect added touch. The fireplace looks so much nicer than what the picture shows. The kitchen is beautiful and very functional and there is plenty of room for sitting, cooking and socializing. We loved the outdoor patio, it was so peaceful sitting out there and watching the hummingbirds in the morning. The backyard is really big which was great for our son to play in and it is all fenced in. Although we never made use of the hottub or outdoor firepit it is truly a great feature for guests. The house is located in a really nice residential area and close to everything we needed. There is so much to see and do in Sedona we wished that we had more time to have enjoyed everything. As a family who was nervous renting a home from the internet, we can not say enough positive things about our experience with the owners and all that their home has to offer. We would highly recommend renting this home and we can not wait to do so again in the future.

Review Title: Wonderful Sedona house
Review Body: My husband and I loved our week stay at this wonderful, comfortable and very clean home. It's .3 miles off 89A which is perfect, no traffic or noise yet it is less than a 5 min. walk to restaurants. We spent our entire week hiking & climbing the "red rocks" in Sedona. The scenery is breath taking. Anita is a wonderful person to work with. The next time we go to Sedona, we'll be staying here again. I'll make every effort to meet Anita & Doug. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Review Title: A Sedona Home Away From Home
Review Body: This was a fantastic place to stay. It's close (walking distance) to many local amenities such as movie theaters, banks, grocery stores, DOG Park. Many trail heads within warmup distance of this great home. Fantastic Sedona sunsets can be see from either end of the block and a great Sunset Vortex site is a short walk away. Probably don't need a car if your into hiking. Flagstaff a picturesque hours drive to the North, artsy beautiful Jerome a half hour west and Phoenix within an hour and a half.
