“Home away from home!!!!”

To start, what a wonderful town Florence is. So much t do with great food options. The Bungalow was an added treat to our stay. We felt like the Haceda beach area was almost private. So great location, with great access to the beach. The wine with the sand dollar, and the personal note was a great touch. It made my family feel at home. We spent a long day on the beach and dunes. Coming to the bungalow felt like coming home. Thank you for all the games we enjoyed as a family. I could go on and on, but I want to make sure this place is available for our next vacation .Thank you so much!!!!!

“Perfect weekend escape”

Lovely little bungalow just a short walk from the beach. We came over for the weekend . . the only problem was that we should have stayed longer! The beach is a wide open expanse of sand - no steep cliffs or stairs to navigate. Seashells abound and very dog-friendly. We will come back soon.

“Excellent Rental!”

Reviewed 27 Jun 2014

Our need for a vacation rental was a little unique. My parents were moving to Oregon from California and wanted to do some shopping around for houses. All of their stuff, less a few suitcases of clothes, was in storage in Eugene. They were still very comfortable for a month. This says a lot, Leslie stocked the place with everything they needed to feel comfortable! We were so pleased with the amenities. She had even left us a bottle of wine and an Oregon sand dollar from the beach! The house had a Roku with Netflix, Pandora, and some other TV services we never got to. There were also games and puzzles. We didn't have any children with us, but if we did they would have enjoyed the sand toys. One of the best perks was a book outlining different activities, restaurants, grocery stores etc. In Florence and the surrounding areas. It was nice to have a locals opinion at our fingertips. Also, Leslie was always a phone call away. She was so sweet, checking in to make sure we were comfortable. I would recommend this property to anyone visiting Florence. Great location, very clean and comfortable!

This cute bungalow was perfect size for my husband and I....oh also our little dog,Tedi, loved it too. The weather was absolutely beautiful the entire week we were there. Old town was close by and lots of sand dune places to have fun....of course we took our daily walks on the beach which was just around the corner. we ate seafood everyday and it was wonderful, We will definetly be back.

“Great Little Place”

Reviewed 24 Aug 2013

My daughter and I really liked this place. It was clean, nicely restored and decorated, fully equipped kitchen. It has more the flavor of a cabin in the woods, but the beach is within a five minute walk as stated in the description. The owners were very friendly and available, but for some reason, their email was screened out by my filter. It had WiFi. The bedroom had a small TV with VHS tapes. My daughter and I watched Mary Poppins the first night. It is very quite, we slept well and had a good time flying kites on the beach, poking around in Florence, and hiking Heceta Head trail.

“Beachcomber Bungalow”

This is a very comfortable little house for 2 people. It is close to the beach but quite protected from the wind on the windy days. There are lovely little sun spots both on the deck in the morning and in the back garden in the afternoon. It has everything that you need to cook up a meal with produce from the local farmer's market. It has excellent WIFI reception should you need it. Florence has some good restaurants should you choose to eat out.

“Cozy Cabin!”

This is a lovely little bungalow! A perfect little romantic getaway for a couple or small family! Delightfully decorated in the coastal theme. Very private, and quiet. The beach is a quick and easy walk. The washer and dryer are a nice feature. Lots of space for atv's, and close to all amenities of Florence. We had a lovely time here, and look forward to staying there again.
