Climate

At Henderson Beach State Park, just west of Miramar Beach, vacationers can enjoy all kinds of beachside entertainment. Right on the water, there are opportunities for fishing, swimming, and sandcastle-building in the sugary white sand. Just inland, a series of nature trails are ideal for hiking and viewing local flora and fauna. In the opposite direction is Topsail Hill Preserve State Park where visitors can go boating, hiking, fishing and swimming in the Gulf.
