“Waterfront CHilling Spring 2015”

Reviewed 31 May 2015

Perfectly located on one of the little "islands" perpendicular to Las Olas Boulevard, this house enchanted me. I stayed there with a friend for two weeks and we really enjoyed the time in Fort Lauderdale, mostly because of this gorgeous location. It is very well maintained and super clean as well as fully equipped - you won't miss anything and feel at home immediately. The kitchen for example is very spacious such that you can easily fit a couple of people in it to prepare meals together and at at the same time enjoy an aperitif. The neighbourhood is very quiet and we felt very protected and private. The neighbours we met were all very friendly and they will greet you when you see them in the street and wave when you just drive by. Even though it's a residential area, all shops and restaurants on Las Olas Boulevard and even on the beach are close by. If you spontaneously decide to go out for breakfast, lunch or dinner, you can simply walk to Las Olas Boulevard or the beach. We spent a fair amount of time by the pool - either in the shade on the terrace which is perfect for reading a book / working or in the comfy sun loungers. Also, the view from the deck towards the canal is stunning, especially in the early morning or in the evening - perfect for breakfast and dinner. I really enjoyed the time in the house and I hope to spend more weeks in South Florida and preferably in this house soon.

Owner's reply: Many thanks Helge for your kind words. We are very happy that you so much enjoyed your holidays and definitely hope to see you back soon. Very best wishes to both you and your friend ;-) Patricia

The house is perfect. We were 4 adults and the size is perfect for 4 People. It's just a few minutes drive or a 10 minutes walk to the beach. And just a Little walk to the Las olas blv. we definitly come back and would love to stay another time in this house.

Owner's reply: Thank you very much Janine ;-) We very much hope to welcome you and your friends again.. Wishing you all a beautiful Summertime in Europe. Patricia
