Reviews for this vacation home rental in Fort Lauderdale, Florida
Great house. Bad turn of events.
May 26, 2015
The house itself was great. Very specious, beautiful backyard, fully equipped kitchen. No complaints on the house itself but on our last day there the A.C broke. During the morning the air was fine. around 12pm we went out to the pool and were out there for a few hours when we went back inside the house was at 80 degrees. We called the person who rented us the house and got no answer. We decided to shut the air off and leave it off for a while to see if maybe the AC had froze. We left it off for a few hrs and then turned it on and went walking around the board walk nearby (which is beautiful) hoping that the house would be cool when we got back. While we were walking around we finally got a call back from the owner and she told us the air would be working by the time we got home. After spending about another hour out we got back home to an even hotter house. It's was now at 87 degrees. We then had to pack our bags and leave because we could not sleep there with the unbearable heat. It was 80 degrees outside and 87 inside. it's been over as week now and we're still waiting to get our money refounded for the night we did not spend there. If all goes well and were able to get our money back without a problem we would love to return because the house and town is beautiful just hopefully it has a better AC unit
