It was a spontaneous trip for us to go hiking at White Mountain area. We feel very lucky to find this house near Cannon Mountain. Allie was fast responding and arranged our stay at a very short notice. The house has its very unique characters, and has everything to keep little and BIG kids entertained. Can see us going back for a ski trip during the winter month.
Owner's reply: Fan, it was such a pleasure to have you, family, and friends stay at the house. Thank you for coming and hope to see you all again soon!
Stayed for 3 nights with our family of 5, 3 teens. Interesting house design, our teens really enjoyed the lay out of the house. Great location in the white Mountains, owner a pleasure to deal with in renting this property, would recommend. Nice deck out back with a babbling brook, property private in quiet neighborhood.
Owner's reply: Thank you Marie!
“Awesome house - Had a great stay”
I stayed at this place during the peak fall season in 2015 with my brother and parents and a friend. The place can comfortably accommodate 8 adults/ 4 kids. One thing to remember is that there is only 1 full bathroom; there are 2 more half bathrooms. . It is a very unique quaint place with a river flowing in the backdrop of the house is so amazing and during fall is really a highlight. Definitely a great place to stay
Owner's reply: Thank you Umesh glad you enjoyed your stay. Ship
“An amazing hideaway”
Absolutely perfect holiday accommodation. Lots' of space, stunning location and most of all homely. We loved it, the downstairs kitchen has a balcony overlooking the river and a great social space for eating and playing games and the 2 floors above gave you ample space for sleeping and chilling out in the living room. We would come and stay in here in all seasons. The location is peaceful and the owners are so welcoming. The location of the accommodation is brilliant for exploring Franconia, White Mountains. We will be back. The Bailey's from the UK

We just completed a 7 day trip to the White Mountains staying at this wonderful MacNeil family vacation home. The home was fun for our 3 young kids, ages 8,8 and 6 who spent a good deal of time exploring and splashing in the backyard creek and playing hide and go seek in the many nooks and crannies of the house. The constant rushing water of the creek provided a relaxing ambience that allowed me to sleep better than ever. Very soothing. The house contains just about everything one needs for sleeping, cooking, relaxing and is conveniently located just off Hwy 93 near most of the major attractions and just down the street from Echo Lake beach. We loved our time in this historic home filled with artwork and sketches done by the owner's family members. Another plus was there were lots of games, puzzles and books for kids. We are a gaming family and loved what we found available to us. The owner is also very kind and went out of her way to mail us a stuffed animal that one of our children inadvertently left under a bed. We would most certainly stay here again.
