The home was found to be very comfortable for our family during our two week stay. We were blessed with a "White Christmas"...the expected 2-3" turned out to be 6-8" of glorious white. The home provided historic detail with modern convienences. The central heat was more than sufficient (although the upstairs did get a bit warm). :-) The home was very private and the landscape (after sufficient snow) allowed the children to sled. Our family enjoyed the fire pit and smores with hot cider. Otto is convienently situated to the GA border allowing us to venture to a couple state parks...lovely view from the highest point in GA and the deep gorge not far from there. We also visited Highlands, Dillsboro, Sylva, the Parkway, Cherokee...all reasonable driving distances. Nearby Franklin provided shopping and eateries. It was a wonderful two weeks of refreshment, relaxation and regrouping! Thank you for opening your home, Mr. Fischer.

The trip was busy but enjoyable. We saw alot of things and did alot of driving. The home was very nice, the renovations were really well done. The only complaint was that the beds were a little too soft. We would definetly stay there again.

Our family of 4 stayed for 5 nights at this cabin. It is peaceful and relaxing, without being too far for town. Would highly recommend this to any gem hunters going to Franklin, NC

We had a great time and there was plenty to do in the area. The house was great and very cozy. The kids had a great time roasting marshmallows by the fire in the fire pit out back!

Our family enjoyed our all too brief stay at the cottage. It was very nice and quaint inside. Had everything we needed and the kids loved the little Juliet balcony. Would really like to get back there in the spring and fall.

This home was absolutely beautiful. It was stocked with everything you need!! We enjoyed making s'mores and telling ghost stories by the fire pit. I will and have already told everyone I know that this was the best rental I have ever rented.
What a great place! We loved it and will definitely stay again! G. Simpson, Winston-Salem, NC
